i'd be surprised if we sell less, i dont think there is any reason in ownership, personnel, logistical reasons why someone would not renew (other than personal)
lets just say Ruben Selles did spend his Sunday evening browsing SBT and knows about our "potential" injuries.
He has no idea what changes Frank would make, and he's working with a squad of players who are 20th, so there's unlikely much he can do with the news anyway
We are too good for them...
If we beat Baggies thats them gone, if we can then pick up 2 more wins from Hull/Luton/Plymouth, hopefully we go into the Boro game with it already confirmed.
want 3 here, I'm not in the "take a draw" camp
In the last 10 games they have picked up 5 points.
I'm not saying if we don't win we wont make playoffs, but, as a team looking for/expecting playoffs, you really should be beating these, home or away
In the last 21 games (nearly half a season) he has 2 goals and 3 assists... i'd argue that's nowhere near "fantastic"
Rudoni has the above in his last 5 games
I'll agree its a great move for him though, nice big payday, be interesting to see if he gets many minutes in the Prem...
in no way do i underestimate his impact on the team
but whether we play 433 or 442, we should be able to pick 3/4 of the following and be more than strong enough
Wright/EMC/Sakamoto/Sheaf/Grimes/Allen/Torp/Eccles/Patterson
yea quite a few mentioned that weren't actually rated highly by many.
On that basis I'm going for the unpopular opinion (which proves my point!) of O'Hare.
His poor goal involvement output ignored by most because he ran around a lot and once wore a sky blue wig.
moved on to bigger and better...
long way to go...
there's a chance we need 9/10 more wins from 14 to make the play offs
7 at home, 7 away, to make the playoffs i think we need roughly these results:
Home
Preston - W
Stoke - W
Sunderland
Burnley
Portsmouth - W
West Brom...
If you want playoffs you should be beating QPR and Preston at home.
Then take a win from either Sheff or Oxford game...
9 points from those 5 with any added bonus from tonight and i think we are still in touch
really don't need them to be scoring in the first 6 minutes (like they have done in 3 of the last 4)
Keep it tight for first 15 or so and keep playing to our strengths
Feel Robins gave them far too much respect in the away game so hopefully wont make the same mistake tonight
fits in the "potential" category for me
too early this year for him to feature much if we want to challenge at top end, but hopefully we get some good minutes in him for experience going into next season
currently our 4th best striker
need 33 points from 16 games to land on 74 points - the average needed to get playoffs over the last 13 years
We need to keep very strong form up to stand a chance, but then equally we have a lot of the teams to play as well
