    Still don’t buy into the narrative that Hull “targeted Dasilva”. That Brazilian player for them was trying his luck down the right all first half, despite MVE getting the better of him. Is this actually happening?

    Which isn’t to do with effort or desire. Which is my point. Anyone with eyes could see they were all grafting to try and score. We were just lacking the quality and composure to do so and came up against a good keeper.

    That would be a common occurrence in football. I think you’d be surprised if you managed to note how many chances we created / how many shots on target we had in that game…

    This is a fair point. We were doing this at first in every game under Frank. Wasn’t always a great watch but I liked it!

    You typed it. Not sure you understand what you typed? You cannot seriously have been watching that thinking we lacked desire and urgency? Our finishing was poor, sure. But that’s a quality / composure thing. Our approach play was great and we were pushing hard.
