Wouldn't surprise me either way if he struggles with prem defences or actually thrives with more space to run into against high lines.

Surely consistency is less important for a side battling relegation, we'll need 35-40 points to stay up. 8-10 wins plus some draws. Wright going on one of his 5-10 game hot streaks could go a long way to securing that.

Personally I think we'll sign around 8 players, 4/5 of those will go straight in as starters, the rest adding quality competition. Couple of marquee signings in the £20m range Total spend around £80m That's what King will mean by being in between Burnley and Sunderland.

You suggested 11 new signings, even at an average of £10m per signing (& Onyeka) that's a ~£118m spend plus a massive increase in wage budget. Just can't see that happening.

Think people need to accept that our signings won't be dictated by what we need to do to stay up, it will be dictated by how much King is willing to spend and what he sees as good investments.

They had the option, a lot didn't want to They've totally ruined WLADITT by the way, not sure what the media guys are thinking. But the atmosphere was never going to be good at 0-0 yesterday, expectations were too high.

Question for those who understand the PL ££££££s

I don't get where this myth has come from, parachute clubs don't lose the payment. That wouldn't make any sense.

To be fair O'Nein slides in from miles away and is never getting there. If the Spurs player hadn't started diving already I think it would've been.

    Could Ipswich pip us?

Even if they win their game on Tuesday we'd only need to match their other results to lift it at the end of the Wrexham game. Ipswich's max is 93, 3 wins takes us to 94. If they drop any points from those 4 we'll have a margin for error too.

What AI are you using for these? Most of them crap themselves when presented with this kind of logical task.

Don't think anyone is paying over £20m, 15-20 maybe. But at that price I'd keep him.

I think this is a good point, imo the quality of football in the championship noticeably drops in the last month of the season as fatigue hits, and either pressure increases or teams have nothing to play for.
