Simms alone had about 3 chances on the edge of the 6 yard box, one that he didn't even anticipate, free header and the overhead onto the post. It was a poor performance but that performance probably wins the game 80% of the time, just needed one to go in.

It's not like he's a complete flop, plus I think it says more about the quality of the Portuguese league than anything. Arteta's priority is always defence anyway. Don't think a return is on the cards as he doesn't seem particularly sentimental.
