Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Takeover won't happen with Hoffman, the fact they are going public demonstrates they are getting nowhere with Sisu. Any takeover will have to be someone else, I fear....

There is definitely another player signing today I am told, don't know who though

first time in thirty years not renewing ........ but

All that will happen if season tickets not sold is sell players to balance loss in season ticket sales - sad, but true! These owners aren't going anytime soon

Michael Doyle re signing for City

He is a winner, don't know what we expect. We have signed the captain of the League Two champions - I will take it all day even if it is a year deal

Michael Doyle re signing for City

Cracking player for League Two, someone with a bit of personality that won't take any shit! A good start to the window. #InRobinsWeTrust

I don't think they know themselves, let's be honest. It appears if they did ever sell it wouldn't be to Gary Hoffman. It's a mad situation. But all we can do is support our team, and what happens, happens.

The average League Two wage budget is 1m per season. I would expect our wage budget to be 1.6m if it was near 2m this season. You would think on these numbers we'd have pick of the bunch of players in League Two. It's a vicious circle though, no season ticket sales = player sales, which I for...

I agree, football is a bug, SISU or no SISU. I'd much rather be watching the Sky blues than being dragged round a retail park by the mrs!

That is fair enough, but I don't go to games for SISU, I go to games for Coventry City! As much as I hate the slimeballs SISU, and wish we get new owners..... I am afraid more people should take the blame for relegation this season, SISU, Russell Slade, Mark Venus and the Players for me as the...

Expecting 30%-40% drop off in season ticket holders. That may go back to 25% if we have a good August. It's annoying all the keyboard warriors on social media creating further negativity and endorsing boycott! The funny thing is, these people probably don't go to games! If you don't want to go...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Hoffman won't put money in, he wants to buy and run as is, on the hope more people come and watch the football club. I can see maximum 2,000 uplift of people coming back to watch. The rest are casual fan (nothing wrong with that) or have just lost interest.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

The owners WONT change if people are hoping on Hoffman. Clearly doesn't the resources, only hope of a sale is a fresh bidder - which is unlikely.

    Better the devil you know?

Cov fans are fickle! They won't all come back, a lot didn't come back after NOPM days, when we returned to the Ricoh! (After Gillingham game). We are a 9,000-14,000 week in week out attendance club regardless of who owns the club!

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Yeah, but years up until now Fleetwood owners have thrown A LOT of money at it to get them to League One. In terms of seats/fans, fans in general are fickle, most we would get is 7,000 season tickets, more seat by seat if we are winning games and towards top of the table.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

If the club is breaking even, the same money going in/out Get that, and I totally agree.... however breaking even has got us to League Two along with some horrendous decisions. I was merely saying a new owner needs to throw money at it for success, which Gary Hoffman's consortium do not appear...

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

My opinion, if Hoffman is offering £500,000 and £1,000,000 for the football club - would suggest there is no real money behind the consortium. I appreciate the club isn't worth much but I cannot see SISU walking away from the football club without even part of their debt paid or to be paid in...

    Letters from Mark Robins

I've had my letter, and I have renewed already with my two kids! For me it's not about owners, it's about enjoying the football with my children. PUSB
