Once upon a time...teachers had intelligence and common sense & would have asked the boy nice open questions & quickly come to a conclusion. Then go have a titter in the staff room about it.
Now? Just like almost everythi g else - attach a label & 'process' it.
Reminds me of that case a couple of years back when a mob gathered outside a house throwing stones at the windows etc and wanting to lynch the bloke who lived there. Rumour had spread that he was a Paedophile but actually he was a Paediatrician ! As they say you couldn't make it up !
Another one has just came to my mind as years ago there was a huge spelling error in the production of some new bibles.It read: Thou shall commit adultery instead of : Thou shall not commit adultery. Methinks someone was up to mischief there !
Remember that lad that brought a suspicious looking clock into school in the states & then got an invite to Whitehouse. Shortly after his family moved to Qatar!
