The boy, 14, is accused of killing Leo Ross, who suffered knife wounds in Hall Green, on Tuesday.

I think the most astonishing thing in all this, is the rap sheet of the 14 year old

"The 14-year-old accused, who cannot be named because of his age, has also been charged with seven other offences, including possession of a bladed weapon, police confirmed.

The other charges include the assault of a woman on 22 October and two charges of assaulting police officers on 26 November.

He is also accused of the serious assault of a woman on 19 January, the serious assault of a woman on 20 January and the assault of a woman on 21 January."

When I was aged 14 kids with the previous convictions he has would be in Borstal or Approved school for certain.

Does the article mention previous convictions? It lists previous recent crimes he has been charged with.

As Nick said, why was he still walking the streets and where are his parents. Surely the police will have told them what the little scrote has been up to.

14 is plenty old enough to know right from wrong. He should be named.
