Can't see how they can do this on 2M
Does anyone think there is a connection between Anderson's appointment and the sudden surge in transfer activity?

Not sure but like you I'm thinking the budget could be understated.

Nothing like a good conspiracy theory, we've lived on them for years but not currently doing us any good! PUSB

Maybe there was a plan b for the case when potentially the gates will get better and promotion looks possible. With the players wanting to come in now, the gates must go up. The squad is surprising some of us e.g. those writing us off without Reda. The run is still going without him and without players on international duty. Maybe they are budgeting on higher gates.

I thought everyone was certain SISU were talking crap about having a decent budget?

Everyone? Was you? I certainly wasn't. The talk was about getting TM to sign, what was needed and SISU keeping to it or TM would be off. TM said we have probably a top 10 budget. Not massive but enough for him to work miracles with. There has hardly been a word said against SISU lately. But a fair few remarks saying it has. Then some wonder why stupid arguments happen on here.

I was one that said if they could turn our club around and get us back at least to where we was when they took over that I could forgive. Won't forget but will forgive. And I am reaching that stage now. But I still won't sit back and say nothing if someone tries to blame everyone but them for what has happened. That would be forgetting.

I doubt we are paying very much for Turner or Bigi - it's as much in their clubs' interest as ours to get them playing. And the other loans are youth players and so not expensive either. I don't see why it wouldn't fit into the budget.

Mowbray said recently our budget is fairly average for the league, just in the top 10.

I don't understand how we're signing so many quality loans on such an average budget.

I'd have thought the higher up the parent club, the more likely they are to fund a loan themselves as it's about developing their players with game time.

perks of being a big club too, players prob wanna play for us at ricoh rather than for rochdale or oldham etc

also perks of having the greatest manager in the world.

It is certainly possible we have a top 10 budget, it's just being spent very wisely.

I agree. I think the calibre of players that we are getting is right up there with the top budget (eg the Wigans), however the main difference being the quantity of players. You only have to look at Reda's injury to see how carefully balanced our squad is.

Don't get me wrong this is a million miles from the Pressley days of having 27 strikers that don't have a goal to share round between them!
