Released here. Still no word on sponsors. Available 16 weeks after we leave Admin.

Q - What was the thinking behind the new design?
A - The Sky Blues' kit for the previous two seasons was based mainly around plainer designs. This season we decided to re-introduce the familiar striped design for a refreshing look.

Q - Why has it taken so long?
A - Although we have had the designs confirmed for a while we have not been in a position to have the strips manufactured for sale.

Q - When will we be able to buy the new kit?
A - Currently the volume of kit required for retail purposes takes approximately 16 weeks to manufacture. CCFC Ltd being in administration has complicated the process of purchasing kit in larger volumes but supporters will be able to buy replica kit approximately 16 weeks after CCFC Ltd exits administration. We are currently working on solutions to try and get a smaller proportion of the new home kit manufactured earlier to allow earlier sales.

Q - When will we see the first team wearing the new kit?
A - We have placed a smaller order to enable the first team squad to be sporting the new home kit by the end of September.

Q - What will the first team wear in the meantime?
A - In the meantime, because the Football League stipulates you must wear your registered home colours, the Sky Blues will be wearing the 12/13 home strip with last season's shirt sponsor covered.

Q - What sizes will the new kit be available in?
A - The kit sizes will range from Small to XXXXL for adults and 5-6 years for children. Please note child sizes years 5-6 and youth sizes will not be available in long sleeve and ladies fitted shirts and home infant kits will also not be available this season.

It appears that the club can't order the new kit until CCFC Ltd has come out of administration.

Given that TF has told us on a number of occassions that CCFC Ltd is a "non-trading subsidiary that only has property assets", I have no idea why it should impact on placing an order with a supplier.

Or has the story now changed?

Ridiculous

Assuming we leave admin at the earliest in September (28 day cool off period from the CVA, so end August / begin September), 16 weeks will take us to January, and what is the point in selling something then, when most teams have the kit discounted at this point to get rid of stock ready for the upcoming season?? What is the point in selling the "new" kit that late in the season? Might as well stick with last seasons kit for this season completely, start anew for the 2014/2015 campaign, if theres still a team at that point...

Clearly a typo on info - they must mean child sizes 5 -16.

Oh my god!! Yet further embarrassment...they've had the designs for a while?! Yeah probably because every other team sponsored by Puma in the Football League have exactly the same kit but in their respective colours.

SISCUM stoop to a new low..they don't even possess the ability to order a kit for the players to wear in time for the new season, never mind the fans, who by the looks of things will be able to get their hands on it by Christmas assuming we get out of admin within the next 6 weeks?

Oh yeah I forgot NOPM..no-one will buy it anyway!!

If I were the club I'd have kept shtum! I'm sure at their board meetings the agenda consists of ...Item 1 how can we piss the fans off next?

Surely they will be running out of ideas soon

I did get worried for a second that the answer to Q5 would be they will share Northampton's

Does anyone seriously believe it takes a company the size of Puma 16 weeks to manufacture a few shirts, not like we need 10s of thousands! Whenever I've had to order stuff like this even if it's a totally bespoke design you can get turnaround times of a week.

There's no point in bothering with this kit unless we're going to have it next season as well. Keep with the old kit all season even if we're going to look like idiots with the logo taped over. Or given that they haven't got another sponsor why even bother taping over it.

TF: This year, in keeping with the finest traditions of football, we've decided to play 'skins'. This decision was forced upon us by the scandalous treatment of us by our suppliers, who have constantly refused to negotiate and give us our kit for nothing. We wanted to pay something, but FFP regulations forbade it. We are, as we speak, working on plans to knit our own kits which will be available some time in the next three to five years.

Normally, of course, the FL requires a team to wear clothing of some sort, but given the unique circumstances and the assistance of our solicitors, they have decided to exercise their discretion. We've promised to pay them a bond of £30 in 2019 if our knitted kit hasn't been completed by Joy within these timescales.

Or the football league don't give a toss so as long as we can fulfil the fixtures

What about the fans? What are they going to wear (at away games only, of course) to show solidarity? No one is daft enough to sit there stark naked on a freezing winter evening..... oh, wait a minute.

Yes total guess
I think they would sell a few if the Ricoh was announced.
I just can't see people buying shirts if the club are playing in Northampton.
Possibly with a depleted squad, possibly still in administration fighting relegation.
I think the fight against SISU would have intensified by October.
I genuinely guess about 500 shirts will be genuinely bought.
