First day will be home to Bolton - you read it here first
(22/1 shot if we all have a go, one of us can say "told you so")
Gonna be funSunderland on a Saturday. Thought that would be Tuesday for sure.
ooooooo the glamour, season opener away to Southend Utd.
Where did it all go wrong ?!
My shock when we're at home on the first day of the seasonAlso, isn't it already confirmed we are at home first day of the season with the lie of Villa's fixtures
Is that 20 out of 23 home games on the Saturday?
8k to MK (19th October!)
I need new glasses - I counted 18 on first attempt!

Same. I counted 18I need new glasses - I counted 18 on first attempt!
No Nick - just rechecked - it's 18.
Just because the majority of fixtures are released for Saturday, doesn't mean they'll be played on Saturdays. The Premier League is the same...all fixtures released for Saturday but then once Sky/BT Sports have their way, there normally ends up about 5 EPL games on a Saturday with games moving to Friday night, Sunday and Monday night.
Same thing applies, although to a much lesser extent, to L1.
Then cup draws etc will mean games have to move. Whatever it says at the moment in terms of number of Saturday home games, won't be the number we play at home come the end of the season (ignoring the 'home' debate....).
We play well away?? Id say thats better6 away games in the last 10. If it's tight up top, that could make it difficult.
We play well away?? Id say thats better
We'll have more fans at away games too so better atmosphere
