How do they decide the fixture list, anyway? Is it some clever little boffin in an office somewhere making it up as they go along, or is there some pre-defined pattern or process they follow?

However this year, Sky announced their first lot of TV picks as soon as the fixtures were released. Same could happen with EFL.
