What would you rather do, keep Kasta and Hilsner?
Jones key thing is his skill not his speedHe was quick but he also had a number of qualities that made Pace part of his weaponry. Jones literally relies on his pace
He is/was also rapid.Jones key thing is his skill not his speed
I agree but his most impressive assets are his control of the ball and ability to change direction quicklyHe is/was also rapid.

People acting like Jodi Jones (even if he can get back to full fitness and last 90 minutes without his knee going again) would be able to cut it in the Championship because he had a decent spell in League 2 about 3 years ago hahahahaha. Coventry fans easily the most deluded on the planet. The lad is finished. We need to let him go.

Why ?His skill was ok at best in league one. Looked good in league two though. Whole different ball game in the championship though
He also didn’t add any emoji’sYou forgot to end with FACT. to show you really know your stuff
It’s called “levels” there are certain levels league 2 is miles away from the championship...for what it’s worth a fit Jones I think will be ok at this level I just have doubts over him staying fitWhy ?

Bloody hell how the hell did we stay up ?Thinking we need a new keeper two centre halfs a left back a centre mid an attacking mid and a centre forward to be a comfortable mid table team next season

Half of those are to replace the loans that have gone back.Sam Osti and James Baka isn't up to it at this level mcfadz are the legs there for another season in the championship then ur looking at back up to o hare although Jodi could provide that cover if fit then I think we need a more composed reliable goal keeper we need to cut out as much of the silly errors as possible next season 12 penaltys is crazy stuffBloody hell how the hell did we stay up ?
Don't agree with that. The twisting and turning, and wrong footing players was a key part of his game.He was quick but he also had a number of qualities that made Pace part of his weaponry. Jones literally relies on his pace

Got a hell of a shot on him too. He was hardly Ryan Giles!
And that's why his knees are fucked. Will be good to see him back in sky blue soon thoughDon't agree with that. The twisting and turning, and wrong footing players was a key part of his game.
Jephcott is the perfect signing nowThat looked only a possibility if Wigan went down, two games to go and they’re four points above the drop. Have some decent players contracted and new investment so should be challenging next season
Jephcott from Plymouth may be achievable given he hasn’t scored for 17 games now...
Apparently they want £5m for Jephcott. I can't see them getting that but whatever fee he does go for will probably be out of our league.Jephcott is the perfect signing now

Report: Plymouth seek £5m for 16-goal Owls and Stoke target Luke Jephcott
According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Plymouth Argyle are seeking a £5 million fee for Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City target Luke Jephcott. The 21-year-old striker...www.sheffieldwednesday.news
Especially on 23k a weekAdam Reach from sheffield wednesday could be a good signing / Mccallum replacement especially if they go down
Match over so back to this thread. One I forgot to mention is Sorinola of MK Dons for the left wing back position. Seems to tick all the boxes, young, highly rated and above all running down his contract (free)

Ikpeazu?
Wonder how close that is to the master plan?OK, basically I think we need to sign the Brighton U23 defence. Christian Walton is out of contract at GK. Get Østigård back on loan, get Haydon Roberts in on loan, 18 left sided CB been at Rochdale this season.
I’d also sign Györkeres permanently, try and get Twine and Ogbeta in and Walsh and James on frees. Loan in some pace going forwards from the Prem. Nice balanced squad that can play 3412/532/433/541
Walton (£0)
Rose Østigård (L) Roberts (L)
Dabo Hamer James (£0) Ogbeta (£600k?)
O’Hare
Walker Györkeres (£1m)
Wilson
Pask McFadz Hyam
Dacosta Walsh (£0) Eccles Reid
Twine (compo £500k max?)
Godden Biamou
Bilson
?? Drysdale McGrath
Rowe Burroughs Ngandu Newton
Bapaga
Tavares Nee
Extra: Jones, loanee forward with pace
Total spend: £2.1m (less than last season)
Players out: Marosi, Mason, Kelly, Shipley, Allen, Jobello, Kastaneer, Hilßner, Bakayoko, Williams, Thompson, Bartlett, Bremang
Players in: Walton, Ogbeta, James, Walsh, Twine, Györkeres, U23 CB
Loans out: Sheaf, McCallum, James, Østigård, Györkeres
Loans in: Østigård, Roberts, pacy forward (unless Tavares really kicks on)
Out the first team I mean sorryWonder how close that is to the master plan?
Names will be different but the principle will be bang on. Only difference is hyam won’t be going anywhere
Out the first team I mean sorry
They're everything I wish we wereBrighton’s technical director is Dan Ashworth, formerly of the FA, who is partly responsible for the impressive crop of English players coming through.
Impressive set up there - a club who really invested in their infrastructure
