He's the cats whiskers from what I've heard!Ben Purrington is definitely a cats name.
we didn’t offer him a contract but i’m sure he could’ve played a higher level than league one potential backup. looks like he really does want to get back in the game.Based on what? We didn’t even offer him a contract
i thought he did a job filling in at wingback/centrebackHe looked crap

Paw in front of goal though
Only real area in the squad where we are obviously light is left wing back. Notice Denver Hume still without a club, turned down a deal at Sunderland.
He seems like one of the few players that their fans have anything good to say about. Better going forward than defensively apparently but still young and coachable. Wouldn’t be in a position to demand a lot given it’s September and he hasn’t got a club.
Can’t say I’ve seen a lot of him but seen mixed reviews from notoriously hard to please Sunderland fans. Needs to sort something out for himself anyway. He wants to stay at Sunderland, was offered a deal, had it withdrawn once he picked up a small injury then offered a worse deal. Which he rightly rejected imo. He's not particularly good though.
We don’t have any Dutch players?Lassana Faye is available, decent LB in the Eredivise, would work well with the rest of the dutch lads
We don’t have any Dutch players?
maatsen and hamer but this was not meant to be the main reason we sign the lad, just a plus.Maatsen but yes there’s hardly an influx
He's just signed a new deal at Sunderland.Only real area in the squad where we are obviously light is left wing back. Notice Denver Hume still without a club, turned down a deal at Sunderland.

Did Biamou ever get a club?
We still want a left back - no mention of Reid being an option
Sky Blues boss Mark Robins wants another permanent signing
Experienced wing-back Todd Kane could feature for the Sky Blues for the first time this weekend against Middlesbroughwww.coventrytelegraph.net

Mind boggling. Why did we bother with Reid if he’s not even sufficient cover?
He was picked up for his potentialMind boggling. Why did we bother with Reid if he’s not even sufficient cover?
He was picked up for his potential
Unfortunately he's yet to live up to expectations
He's young so it's still possible he will kick on
reminds me of when we signed Darragh Leahy if anyone remembers him, Reid has played decently on a much higher stage before we signed him compared to Leahy so hopefully that’s an indicator of his breaking out?Mind boggling. Why did we bother with Reid if he’s not even sufficient cover?
Nothing like Leahy, Leahy was in our academy.reminds me of when we signed Darragh Leahy if anyone remembers him, Reid has played decently on a much higher stage before we signed him compared to Leahy so hopefully that’s an indicator of his breaking out?
