Gustavo Hamer at Coventry is among the options to replace Yokuslu and the 23-year-old has started impressively in the Championship but further targets will need to be identified and recruited as the basis for a promotion challenge.

Old news - it was in the Athletic May 11th
Sadly this was my point. As there was never going to be any Friday signings the answer has to be No

Great player but never fitDon’t really know how reliable TeamTalk are but they’re claiming we’re interested in Chuks Aneke along with 5 others
EXCLUSIVE: Middlesbrough among more than six chasing ex-Arsenal man

This guy is putting together the release lists of every club as and when they come out:
English Football – Released Players – Summer 2021

A lot more names on here now. Simon Moore is a realistic option in goal.
Thoughts on Simon Moore? Don't know much about him.
No he’s on international dutyLooks like kastaneer is off to some club in Mexico judging by his Instagram.
no doubt a big earner so be good to get him off the wage bill
Apparently we’ve made a move for Joe Bennett who has been released by Cardiff.
As if Kasta is an international
Bennett had been holding contract talks with club bosses before and after serious injury struck in March. No deal has been reached, and the man described by chairman Mehmet Dalman as "the best left back in the league" leaves for nothing at the end of his current contract.
Not sure what the extent of the serious injury is (aged 31) but obviously if he can recover we need a reliable left back.
Edit:
Cardiff say scans show Bennett, 30, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and that he will now see a specialist.
"When someone goes down like that and doesn't move, you know they are hurt," McCarthy told BBC Sport Wales after the Derby game.
"He's not good. I'm not a doctor or a surgeon but he'll be assessed tomorrow. He's not in good shape anyway."
Bit of a risk, reading that.
They haven’t got a manager yet.A new piece from The Athletic today says West Brom are eyeing a move for Gus Hamer.
West Brom eyeing Coventry's Hamer as part of midfield rebuild
With Okay Yokuslu, Conor Gallagher and Ainsley Maitland-Niles all returning to their parent clubs, West Brom's engine room needs fixingtheathletic.com
Most clubs at this level and above don’t work on a manager fronted recruitment model. They haven’t got a manager yet.

I think the point is that the club has a vision for how they play which feeds the strategy of the types of players they sign and then hire a coach to implement that strategy. So they wouldn't hire a manager who doesn't play wingers if they wanted to play with wingers.A bit like putting the cart before the horse though. Imagine signing a winger, then signing a manager who doesn't play with wingers.

I reckon anyone with a pro contract would get into the Curacao squadAs if Kasta is an international
