Some people don't want to be associated with any kind of protest which divides and categorises fans as 'types', so the shit about people who go in to the ground needs to stop, and it needs to stop NOW.
Ian
What would that proove and who would be interested in covering it?
The whole issue in all this is that most people have given up the fight.
At least on the hill you can watch the fame.
The protest doesn't divide, its actually very inclusive as it encourages those that go in to stand alongside (metaphorically obviously) with those that are outside on the hill.
Anything said about those that go in are personal opinions, of which we are all entitled to.
If a sixfielder really wants to join in with the protests by holding a banner up inside the ground, but then wont because someone on an internet forum said something nasty would suggest to me that the person has issues.
It doesn't, and it would be nice to keep it that way.
However... I'm not going to stand shoulder to shoulder with people who seek to run down other fans. It's not any of our fault we've moved. It's also a pretty idiotic way to persuade people to take part, by insulting them repeatedly and grouping them together. That's nothing to do with issues, that's common sense that you don't unite and persuade by categorising and Othering.
It. Needs. To. Stop.
Else I'll have my own protest against short-sighted loons.
Football fans will always run down other fans.
Remember the disgraceful scenes in the JPT semi when CCFC fans abused CCFC fans for deciding to leave? Not to mention some of the childish comments on here about "glory supporters".
Abuse between different sections of supporters has always existed, yet no one seemed to care. For some reason it has recently become a sensitive subject.

What I do find strange though is people who have a passion for Coventry City, who claim to hate SISU, who say they hate we are in Northampton and we should be playing in Coventry yet contrive to oppose every protest about the situation going.
This seems a really good idea and those attending Sixfields should absolutely get behind it.
Well we can only really do what we can do as individuals and if that becomes a successful and consciousness raising collective demonstration then that might just mean a difference might be made and we influence a return to the Ricoh. I for one will be supporting "Fix Football" and "Let Down" demos - I have saved my placard from Bradford and will be holding it up at 35 minutes. If enough of us do perhaps this time it'll make a difference.
In my opinion a lot of people attending Sixfields have nothing else major going on in their life.
The sense of belonging is too great to break so they need to attend. Not knocking it but sometimes people need to look at the bigger picture.
Sisu seem to be happy that some people are their attending and it seems to also make it okay for the FL.
You would have thought. But no, they can't miss a game at sixfields.
everything on hold till latter half of week.....AGAIN
sadly it doesnt need to be. SISU have said they have accepted the decision and have said they want to get back to Ricoh. Just pay the money instead of waiting until the last minute !
* cue the "how do you know the money hasnt been paid comments?"
i dont think money will be an issue, it will be paid. the appeal however.......
From the man who has so little going on in his life he spends most of his time crying woe is me on an internet forum.
Does that apply to meetings with 'other interested parties' too, then?
It's a slippery slope...
You do know that you don't have to be sitting in front of your computer by yourself in your bedroom ?
These days they have Apps that mean you can do things on the hoof.
Currently on the top of Snowdon posting whilst having a flask of coffee.

Why did you say you had given up on going yet went to the opening game?
who is Snowdon. he sounds very accomodating.
Yes it fucking does. Total transparency or nothing at all.
The Trust is not there to make two or three people feel special and give speeches on a bus. It's there to organise the fans into a coherent and effective voice. You can't do that if you're refusing to tell the members what you're up to.
I've long railed in private about this with board members, frankly had enough.
For someone who talks about "standing shoulder to shoulder" I'm surprised you don't get this.
Had enough of GCBTTR when they did it. Had enough of KCIC when they did it. Had enough of the Trust now.
Anyone out there actually want to represent the fans instead of playing "I want to be the guy who can say I sorted it"?

Well that's one out the way. Sisu to pay before 4pm? Long odds surely?
Hoping a bit of reverse betting will work today#takeushome

If Mr Justice Hickinbottom rejects the application, Sisu will need to apply directly to the Court of Appeal within 21 days.
Once the application is received by the Court of Appeal it can be considered without the need for a physical hearing.
If the Court of Appeal dismisses the application for an appeal without a hearing, Sisu could apply to argue their case for an appeal in person.
Should Sisu be granted an appeal at the end of the process, three senior judges at the Court of Appeal would consider the case and decide whether to take any action.
If the court decides the appeal is invalid, then Sisu will be forced to accept the judgment.
This whole process is likely to take several months.

European law is to the effect that where the answer to a point is not clear in the European jurisprudence, a domestic court may refer it to the CJEU for a "preliminary ruling".
But it may yet be referred to the European Court of Justice, which I think is SISUs intention.
