1. If we beat Southend we will be second, one point off the lead with a similar goal difference.
2. The only team to beat us this season is top of the league
3. Already there is a gap opening and IF we win we will be 4 points ahead of 8th placed Swindon.
Can't get much better can it?

It can.

We could bring in a couple of quality players, Amstrong can drop out of the England Under 21 squad and my missus can get amnesia on a shopping trip to Aldi and forget where she lives.

Which order are they in?

Or we lose and

1. We have lost 2 on the trot.

2. Armstrong then leaves us for England with no one up front.

3. Momentum gone and transfer window shut.

Just playing devils advocate for a bit of fun. (Before nasty posts)
Funny how one result changes the out look on things win or lose though.

Very true and this is why we shouldn't get carried away. We win on Monday and it will all be smiles again with everything back on track. Lose and we will start to worry a bit more and wonder if those first 3 games were just a misrepresentation of how our season might just pan out.

Those first 3 matches I do think we caught teams unaware. After all, not many tipped us to beat Wigan and most were predicting midtable.

Teams will now try and suss us out and attempt to deploy a system to nullify our attacking threat. As TM says, we need to find other ways to win at times.

Monday is a big game. Could have us all back smiling again, or worryingly scratching our heads.

We need to get reinforcements in now, time really is ticking, even a win tomorrow, although welcome is not as important in the long run.
