I guess it can get wet down thereI had a look on your forum and it seems like a few are concerned about us having a couple of blocks above your fans
We aren`t as far as I know? Care to enlighten me?? Think we have moved on a bit from the 80`s when we rearranged the seating plan at Highfield road.
Really pleased with sales so far at the moment.
Would be really nice if this could be a sell out or really close to one!
They had Scotland fans in the top tier above England fans and that was fine so I'm sure we'll manage OK.
@skybluesam66 ........ I think the only moisture will be internal in the form of beer. .... unless you mean us taking the p**** on the pitch?
Can`t see it making one iota of difference that Cov will be in the top tier above a few blocks of ours, the design of the ground and stewarding etc will negate any halfwit who fancies launching anything down to the next tier/at opposing fans.
To be honest I would rather see a full Wembley .. it will add to the experience & memories. When we played York in the Conference play off they had about 8-9,000 that looked "lost" in a stadium of that size.... and our 35k didn`t look much better!!
I think the vast majority are looking forward to a cracking Spring day out in London watching their team in a final at the home of football (again!).
Of course there will be a tiny % of Stone Island clad spotty wannabes who will be trialing for the "Strictly Pavement Dancing with Arms Outstreched" trophy....... best ignored IMHO.
Anybody that goes to a Wembley final, or any football game for that matter, and causes trouble is an absolute numpty.
There, that should shame them out of it.
We have one very noticeable exception to misbehaving at football and that is when we play at Pighill.
250 coppers from 5 forces couldn`t control that......... on a Sunday with a midday kick off.
We really don`t like them.
Its also the Boat Race on April 2nd......... so all the toffs will be down by the river.
Where is Pighill is that Swindon Wycombe ?
Tim is a Merchant Banker!of course i was joking
however if anybody has a seat directly above Fisher - things may be different
Wonder if he will take any of his cronies there to hear 40000 people sing his name
"Tim I am really pleased to hear your customers admire your skill in banking"
I can tell you are the sort of guy who creates parody Twitter accounts and keeps them going for yearsHi guys, haven't posted on this thread for a while so I thought I'd update you all now. Just spoken with my mate in the ticket office. Since general sale we've sold an addition 12,000, taking our total up to 86,000. Incredible. It's highly doubtful we'll get any more as this leaves just under 4,000 for Oxford fans, neutrals & corporates combined. Will let you know if anything changes.
@Edgey95 ..............42,278 as of 8.45am today............ 25,200 for us...... excluding corporate and similar pish!
Still offers me 6 tickets together in 524, so not sold out in there yet
stop putting tickets in your basket and let people who actually want to buy them do it.Still offers me 6 tickets together in 524, so not sold out in there yet
