I suspect a lot of people will decide to get tickets only if we stay up. I know Wembley and all that right? But tbh if we do look like we are going down in the next few games I think it will affect fans views and the apathy towards their continued support. Many will simple say nah a tin pot trophy on top of relegation - not for me.
Tbh I'm still debating if I will bother going myself. As for near 40k I also think that is ambitious.
Am I wrong?
We are 11 points from safety aren't we, even if by some miracle, the like of which hasn't Been seen
since "the parting of the seas" or the "Resurrection" we do stay up, won't it be To late for Wembley
tickets by the time we know.:emoji_pray:
The 39000 allocation will be sold easily, ST holders can buy 6 each that's over 30000 I believe most will take their allocation. There are loads of non ST holders scrambling around for tickets, I have had over a dozen at where I work asking if I'll get them tickets. On a sad development I know there are local scallys rubbing their hands on the potential black market there's going to be, one I know has told me he will be selling tickets three times their value and he expects to get it, I asked how many is he getting, he replied loads !!

Well yeah, but surely a lot of ST holders will be getting tickets for the people who would otherwise have been in the queue to get tickets down the line later.
Not everyone of course, but I've had people ask me. If they couldn't get any from an ST holder they would just try themselves when the option was open for them to buy.
There has to be some crossover. I don't believe for a second that it will be 6 each taken for each ST holder, all taken up by people other than those further down the chain.
Mums, Granny's little kids are unlikely to be joining queues. In my lot there are 42 tickets to be had plus another 6 from another source that's 48 all gone. 4 kids, 2 mums and a granny and most the others I'm afraid to lapsed fans none of whom would have queued for one. That's being repeated throughout the city.
There's 7 of us with season tickets, so potentially 42 tickets but we're only getting 18. I really don't think it will be a problem for anyone to get a ticket who really wants to go.
