I think you've hit the nail on the head , drop out of the league and SISU LOSE the GOLDEN SHARE !Robins said once he heard of our plans, he signed. What is going on??
More beneath the surface, sisu realising that to drop out of the league is business suicide or maybe robins just a better manager than the others!! Don't know but I am optimistic going into this season more than I can remember in the last 3 years.
I wait with bated breath for some pleb on here to have a brother-in-law who has a cousin with a Northampton supporting workmate who thinks he's the biggest load of garbage ever.
They don't own it, the EFL do.I think you've hit the nail on the head , drop out of the league and SISU LOSE the GOLDEN SHARE !
They don't own it, the EFL do.
And if we are promoted back to L2 from non-league we get it back
As boring as signing players I have never heard of.But.....but.......that's boring.
If they get promoted back to L2 the EFL will not give it back [ The golden share ] if the home ground is NOT upto LEAGUE STANDARD !!!They don't own it, the EFL do.

Three signings already and it is only mid-May.
This is exactly what needed to happen last year.
Glad to see Robins on it so much.
Already resigned to losing anyone from last season who is any good, so don't really care if people are going out. Anyone who stays is basically equivalent to a new signing in a squad made from scratch.
Or Robins only came back only if everyone kept out of his transfer dealings. Nobody has been sold yet. The longest period for years.Maybe maybe SISU are not as involved as you think ??
TBF though Grendel, we said that at the end of last season,Hardly any played well last season - few would ne missed.
The takeover has happened but they haven't announced it as it would drive fees for players up.

Or we might have to pull the Trigger!Just hope this Rodney ain't no plonka!

Indeed! Hoping there may be one or two diamonds in the 3 so far!Especially as we've as more chance of going to margate than hull and back!

Either that or he's cold, dull and unexciting.

If there's one, we've done really really well.Well we (I) know there's definately not three out of three
Another astute signing, at least on paper. I've never heard of him or seen him play so I can't comment on the reality, but he's a good age, has decent experience and is rated by fans of his former club.
Three signings BEFORE pre season has even started. What is happening?!
If odds were available for L2 winners next season, I'd definitely let the heart and the optimism overtake the head and memories of the last 20 odd years of being a Coventry fan.
They are on skybet
During my time on here I've always considered him a sound guy, dogged in his opinion,Another astute signing, at least on paper. I've never heard of him or seen him play so I can't comment on the reality, but he's a good age, has decent experience and is rated by fans of his former club.
.
Are they?! I checked Coral and Bet365 earlier but I couldn't find anything for next season. I'll have a look at Sky Bet now!
Oh. And he gets on Grendel's tits a lot.During my time on here I've always considered him a sound guy, dogged in his opinion,
Always willing to stand up for himself, yet always respectful, I've known him be funny
And sometimes generous, but I fail to see how you can credit Astute with our signings.
12/1 winner ( of bad!) or 9/4 promotion
Don't fall for it!It's currently 13/1 for us to win L2 on Sky Bet. Definitely worth a few quid.....
