Yeah. It's a depressing thought that if there is anyone who started supporting us today then being 4 points from safety may be the highest acheivement that they see for a long time :facepalm:

Thing the worst thing about it is even if we put in a fantastic performance against Southampton and win the game will still be in the bottom 3 and at least one point behind 4th from bottom.

surely worse than that is the expected loss, where we could be 7 points from safety in early November !

Yes, sorry, what I meant was that a win against Southampton would be momentous, but after such a fantastic effort we would still be in the bottom 3.
