You clearly weren’t at the Norwich game last Saturday!!!!!!!!!!Coventry City fans hurl abuse at Tim Fisher at Chesterfield

After losing 1-0 at home to Newport and 2-0 away to Yeovil, we drew 0-0 against 10 men Chesterfield in League 2.
We've come an awfully long way.
You clearly weren’t at the Norwich game last Saturday!!!!!!!!!!
This sort of attitude should be heeded by a number on hereWe have come a long way, (im not saying your positioning like this either) but thats been and gone.......it's perfectly fair for people to ask questions, poke, be disappointed with a result (clearly some people go OTT) but its been a massive let down after a summer with so much talk and promise.
Too many people trotting out this mantra.....this includes criticising robins also, he's got to shoulder responsibility. I didn't like his comments about fans going OTT on Saturday, he himself said we have to go for it in summer.
There is time, so we must remain balanced, but ive no issue with challenging, constructively. There are some worrying signs that haven't been addressed, lets see how the next block of games plays out.
PYou can’t ignore the fact that we’ve come a long way and why would we want to. I just think expectation has outstripped our reality. We don’t own the stadium. We make losses. It’s actually a massive over achievement that we’re trading blows in the upper echelons of the league. It’s worth remembering that when the odd poor performance crops up
They must have said the same thing at Ipswich and Luton. You can’t ignore the fact that we’ve come a long way and why would we want to. I just think expectation has outstripped our reality. 2 wins from the last 12 league gamesThis sort of attitude should be heeded by a number on here
Constructive, balanced and not bedwetting

3 points off the playoffs2 wins from the last 12 league games
Won half our games this season not really an excuse to panic2 wins from the last 12 league games
Crucially in the league we’ve won 1 out of 4… with arguably more difficult teams coming up.Won half our games this season not really an excuse to panic

I agree it’s not panic stations but crucially we haven’t played well since Leicester last season.Yes that's true, wrist slashing form

Spot on.
People talk as if we are punching above our weight in this league. We are not. Pushing/aiming for top 6 of the Championship should be the very minimum for a club our size. The absolute minimum.
The only team we have beaten in the league is one which is odds-on with the bookies to go straight back down to L1.Crucially in the league we’ve won 1 out of 4… with arguably more difficult teams coming up.
Think a lot of people on here and City fans in general are still stuck in that small club mentality. We're a big club, we shouldn't just be happy to be here and settle for mid table. Top 6 bear minimum.
Fucking hell this board is depressing right now.
Yes we've been poor this season so far but a different result on Saturday and we'd all be going into the international break happy.

Perspective required all round. I said expectations would lead to early negativity if we weren’t winning every week but it really is just gone August. We’ve had to try and replace quality players who have left without breaking the bank. Some will prove great acquisitions some won’t.Yes that's true, wrist slashing form

That's all well and good mate but now some has said your name is Napoli MP I can't take you seriouslyWe're a well run club, operating as sustainably as a Championship football club can these days, future of the club looks secured, we're usually entertaining to watch, we play in a great league and have exciting players, we've had some fantastic moments over the last few years. Great time to be a Cov fan, long may it continue because everything runs in ebbs and flows.
Not helped by the likes of Sky banging on about us being “favourites” etc. the core of the problem we have is that the squad has improved quite a bit but the expectation has outstripped it.Perspective required all round. Still think if Sheaf can get a serious run in the team we will be transformed. We need backup for him though.
