...and the wheels are coming off thick and fast for many around the top 6.
As I expected, squad size plays a huge role about now.
TBH if we concentrate on what we do and not worry about others then when we play Bournemouth and Swindon, beating them both we are theoretically 2 points from automatic promotion.
I would not let that be unnoticed by my players.
2 points from promotion automatically with 11 games to go. That's THE way to look at it.
The thing I notice a lot is that people talk about a certain points target for a certain position, but in this division in particular it seems that there's little sense of form and so any team within shouting distance who does pick up regular points is in with a shot.
We have no chance of automatic promotion. We haven't won 2 in a row all season have we? We'd have to win 10 of the last 13 and still probably wouldn't do it.
Not won 3 in a row. Won 2 on many occasions. Auto very difficult but not impossible. They all keep dropping points.

Hugely improbable though, and not worth discussing until we have broken into and cemented a place in the top 6.
A lot like to cite Reading as an example of coming from near the bottom of the table into
auto's/champions. After 33 games they were 3rd with 60 points
Yep. Not even made the top 6 yet. Forget all about automatic promotion.
The one bit of positivity I can see of late is the fact that only Brentford ahead of us now have 2 games in hand.
It's narrowing somewhat. Bournemouth and Tranmere now have played the same amount of games as us and the rest only have 1 game in hand.
Certainly looking a little rosier than after the Yeovil game.
Keep saying this til I am blue in the face though, we need to sort out our home form before we have any chance whatosever.
Yes, we have to play both Doncaster and Swindon, but they are both at home and it's at home where we have struggled and they are two of the teams we really need to catch.

its highly unlikely. but no chance is clearly incorrect!
if your talking about playoffs we must talk about autos, like paxman said,if we beat our rivals we are in title mix
however if we lose to them we can fail to even clinch a playoff berth
id persoanlly settle for 1 win 1 loss or 2 draws from bourny and swindon
the crazy season continues
It's gonna be a fairly low finishing points total in the top six the season because everyone's beating everyone else.
