Don't know if I'm following things properly but seemed to be suggestions yesterday that the JR verdict is not that important and it's what is said in court that will really matter. Simon Gilbert posted that "I'd be very wary about accepting everything said in court as fact. Evidence is always presented by those with an agenda and often not presented in its entirety or with the relevant context. That's the nature of court hearings. That's also why there's a judge!"

So is this (1) a clever double bluff to make it sound like sisu think they'll lose and when they win it will seem even more important or (2) is there really a belief that the judge's verdict on what has been proven is not that important and it is stuff said in court presented with an agenda, out of context, not in its entirety etc etc that is what will matter? In any court case the judge's verdict is the absolute most critical thing - the whole point of having courts is so a verdict/decision is reached! So I'd reject option 2 and my money's on option 1. If I've got the wrong end of the stick please explain!

Not necessarily. It can also be any statement with the word FACT placed at the end. Especially true on SBT.

Surely sisu can say what they like in court (within reason) as can CCC, so the judgement is actually the most important thing as it dismisses hearsay and opinion as opposed to the facts. Even then you need to read the judges report to establish what he considered fact or fiction and why from both sides.

Personally I don't think we'll know what is fact or fiction this week but that won't stop people peddling it as the truth.

Just to add to the conspiracy theorists out their, didn't a learned blogger or poster write that the real reason for Sisu to bring the JR was to gain access to the council paper work and email trails relating to the councils actions over the whole refinancing affair. The theory was that they knowingly would loose the JR but gain information needed to levy a damages claim at a future date? NOPM

Sisu will claim as fact that the council taking over the acl mortgage was a plan to get new owners of CCFC.....
In reality the mortgage buyout has nothing to do with CCFC or about pushing sisu out.
They're just sore because the council beat them to it buying the debt.

The thing is the result might not matter to us mere minions, the only thing that matters is if the result gets us back to Coventry. I couldn't care if ACL have to pay money back or SISU lose and have to pay shit loads of legal fees if it doesn't get us back in some shape or form.

Think Simon Gilbert said this after the "Wilson sold to Forest story"

"I'd be very wary about accepting everything said in the Coventry Telegraph as fact. Evidence is always presented by those with an agenda and often not presented in its entirety or with the relevant context. That's the nature of the Coventry Telegraph

Here's a fact. Friend of mine has been a Sky Blue die-hard has bought three season tickets at Leicester one he will use and the other two for his grandsons aged 7 and 9 They want to see live football and the best players, both will obviously become Leicester supporters and will travel 22 miles for their football and not 35.

Nothing to do with them being promoted now?

Die hard my arse. Sounds like he loves a bandwagon but it ok as we can all blame SISU for that.

Sorry how can you be die hard and then just go and support another team?
I would rather watch no team than change my allegiance.

Quoting that they want to see 'the best players' just makes a mockery of their argument as it seems with us being in League One, or even the Championship where we were pre SISU, they would have deserted us anyway to watch the glory boys in the Premier league. So much for die hards....

SISU's fault though isn't it that these kids will grow up supporting other teams....

And to think I get slagged off for "wanting to support the lads". Seems OK if you want to support some "lads" from another team. You're still a die hard, apparently.

Same as the fella who kitted himself his kids out with Chelsea kits and took them to games there all because of SISU.

SISU provide a convenient excuse to some.

They'll be back for the 2018 JPT regional final at Highfield Road II.

Not my personal choice but safe to say people who do go because of the love of the game, clearly not glory
