When SISU arrived in 2007/8, there is little doubt that their reason for purchase was the expectation of a quick return to the Premiership, as demonstrated by their nett spend of 3 to 4M on new players in 2008 and the appointment of Chris Coleman,at that time a fairly big name. I have never believed theories about complicated tax issues or dumping of debt into the club as their objective for ownership, but I believe there came a point when plan A was deemed to have failed and plan B was hatched which involved generating a return on their investment from ownership of the Ricoh and player sales, and much less emphasis on getting a return from the on-field activities.
Reasons for believing this, (apart from all the litigation)
No apparent attempt to avoid relegation from the Championship, no change of manager at a point that might have saved us (as they did this season)
Comments inferring that our turnover was not sustainable for a position above League 1
SISU seemed happy with the ground arrangement for the duration of plan A
Now plan B appears to have failed, in my mind there can only be two options that make any business sense whatsoever, either crystallise the losses and walk away, or return to plan A.
Considering the appointment of TM, I believe SISU have returned to plan A, for one more attempt, and that TM has persuaded them that it can be done, at least part of the way, without too much extra investment.
The latest comment on the CCFC website confirms my thoughts.
“We’ve made that statement now by bringing him in and we see this as a fresh start in taking the club forward"

Wish they'd gone for a Mowbray with Plan A 1 instead of Coleman.
As with every summer (bar the last but one) I'll get deliriously optimistic only to have my hopes dashed the first time I see the team play. That said: Premiership in three years!
So wide of the mark, this is just plan G, get back to the Championship and cling in there with a Division Three budget.
Take a few years profits and then sell on citing difficulties & obstructions encountered in land acquisition as a reason for not building a new stadium.
Well my guess is as good as anyone's, only time will tell.
I'm optimistic. Let's see who he gets through the door, he certainly had a better record with those he brought in than SP. Looking good that he's put his foot down with Joy. I suspect Presley could've but didn't have the experience to back it up.

I think you are right.TM has got his assurances before the season started. We have no points deduction, no transfer embargo and someone who was given a job to do and did it.
We know that we have someone capable, knows what has to be done and who wants to do it.
I am 100% sure we will make the play offs under Mowbray and probably do well in the paint pot cup.
