manager Micky Adams has left Sheffield United following their relegation from the Championship.

Adams, a lifelong Blades fan, was appointed on 30 December last year after former boss Gary Speed became manager of Wales.

United won just four of their 24 games under his charge, and their relegation to League One was confirmed last week.

feel sorry for him, i like Adams and thought eh was unfairly treated when we sacked him.

Reading alot of Tweets Sheff Utd aren't happy about it!

Good luck to him in the future

Never rated him, just another middle ability manager in very overpopulated sea. I reckon any one of us could do the job to a better standard than him

Looked to me like he had started to get them playing finally. Even worse than us for stability and he is plenty good enough for League 1. He proved with Fulham and Port Vale he can be exceptional at League 2. Odd decision imo.
