He should have been sacked at the time though, the football was so one dimensional and we'd won 1 in 16 league games at the point of his sacking.
Injuries to key players for his system was what did it for him, he built a side to play a certain way and (whether you liked it or not) it was working and getting consistent results here for the first time in a long time.
