Or 3 billboards outside Ricoh Arena, Longford. Are there any billboards near the council house. Trust should be able to raise funds for something along the lines of "City without Sport: Council abandons football club". Something that they should be publicly told will happen if they don't publicly come to the table and state what they are going to do to help keep the club at its home. Invite the telegraph along to take pictures and get the council some negative publicity.
Someone mentioned Charlton fans, when they had trouble getting the valley back they organised a campaign against Greenwich council and stood for elections, think they even won some seats.
I fear you are more accurate than perhaps you think. I went to that last meeting at the Albany listened to various comments , one chap was taking down ideas from the floor the other chairing the meeting, Moz, as said a number of thoughts, opinions, comments were raised and it was said these would be processed and fed back, but this is where I scratch my head. The meeting ended and broke up, there was no mention of a re-convened meeting in say a fortnight or month so it is no further than it was a couple of months ago. We read alsorts of negative comments re. the Trust but it seems to me they are the only show in town.We are totally screwed. This club will go to the wall shortly and the world of football will be shocked and say " why didn't the fans do anything ?"
.
Now now.:rage:

That would be great and might prompt the local press to actually push the point and get a real answer.Be good to have something similar to the LedByDonkeys lot on Twitter who use tweets by Brexiteers on Billboards. Example below.
It would be nice to have some massive billboards in the City with quotes from Lucas et al.
“This deal would not have happened if it threatened the future of the Sky Blues or Coventry Rugby Club.”

We shouldn't be sucking up to Wasps . Some on here seem to think we shouldn't upset them. For what reason ? Are they scared in case Wasps pull the plug on our very existence? They threaten that anyway. We have nothing left to do except to discredit them by mass unity in publicising our plight through social media . That is all we have. What SISU do is beyond our control. We know that through years of experience. Some say that Wasps cannot afford to let Coventry city go to the wall because the adverse publicity would harm them. We need to jump on that and up the ante, not go cap in hand to them.I fear you are more accurate than perhaps you think. I have said before this is sisu v Wasps no-one else. We supporters can’t do a lot other than herangue the weakest link which imo is Wasps, some fear it might well upset them so fucking what, yes we should bring the City of Sport fact into it and the City of Culture thing but time is ebbing away at the very least more meetings should be arranged to see where things are at.

Well said again AlanDugdale and the nail hit firmly on the head getting at Wasps is our only tactic. I don’t know any of the Trust personally or spoken to them the two on the top table seemed a bit battered down to be honest after all they are just fellas doing their best or trying to but get derided on this what is basically an echo chamber. Your banner over motorway bridges example would be a perfect start, peaceful but to the point. As I said I’m surprised there isn’t a follow up meeting arranged to perhaps mobilise any feed back from the last one when perhaps those who say they are for the future of ccfc can come along and prove it.We shouldn't be sucking up to Wasps . Back in the 1970s someone would have written " Wasps are killing our club" across a bridge at junction 2 for thousands of motorists to see each day, every day. Surely we can do more with Facebook/Twitter etc. I don't use any of them but lots of supporters do.
I can see motorists driving on the M6 saying to themselves 'well that's me finished with Wasps'Well said again AlanDugdale and the nail hit firmly on the head getting at Wasps is our only tactic. I can see motorists driving on the M6 saying to themselves 'well that's me finished with Wasps'
on their way North or South.
Yeah I'm torn. One thing I do think is even if there isn't a directly quantifiable result between action and result, it's crazy not to try and draw attention to our situation, and show that at least some people care!I can't. But it might just slowly start to get the message across that a lot of people aren't happy with their move and that others, though tolerant of their move won't be so understanding if it contributes to the demise of the football club.
You're right people have given up including me. I don't go to Trust meetings, not part of any group not interested in any protests. Nothing that has been done has had the slightest influence on our situation. What makes anybody think that anything that's done now will change things? Just support the ladsIt’s called ‘grasping’.
Deep down everyone knows that this has gone on for so long that a lot of people have given up. People are tired of fighting. Mostly because nothing they’ve done (the March/protests etc) have actually influenced a positive outcome from ownership, or the other protagonists.
There’s no unity because those that are still fighting are pissed of at the situation + the indifference of others.
I think what it would do will alert people to to crisis. Most people are completely oblivious to our plight, even at this late stage. Some might say " what the fuck is this all about?".I can see motorists driving on the M6 saying to themselves 'well that's me finished with Wasps'

At least you are doing the last bit! That's the one thing most should agree on!You're right people have given up including me. See the trust have had another pop at Fisher and Sepalla on twitter with no mention of anyone else.
Still waiting for the promised pressure on all sides.
Might interfere with my other plans of taking a holiday in August for the first time in nearly 60 yearsIf you do mine I'll buy you a season ticket for Nuneaton as payment?*
*Runs away!
