There’s no excuse to not meet Dave Boddy. What’s the hold up?
If only there was some sort of group, maybe made up of supporters, who could put pressure on the council about this sort of thing :banghead:It's like beating my head against a wall.

There needs to be dialogue. If not directly between the three parties via some intermediary. But above all between Sisu and wasps.
However this knock back should not be a surprise. Previously when legals have been going dialogue ceased. From CCC point of view they would have been advised by their legal department to say nothing. Talks embargoed. Sisu would expect this
There may be also half an eye at ccc on what could happen in the future in terms of possible further legal action.
Yes Boddy has done some good things at CCC but in terms of the real problems facing Ccfc he Is a marginal figure.
Boddy carries no authority he isn't a director or an owner. Nor is he an impartial conduit to talks. Yes he is titled as CEO but he is CEO of Otium who are of course named in the court action against ccc. He has to try but surely he would have been briefed as to what to talk about and the expected reaction ? Nothing in this is without plan on both sides.
That's the advice I suspect CCC are acting on - say nothing - but it may be simply it suits not talk so as to apply pressure.
Stamping the feet in the match day program won't actually have helped other than make fans feel more frustrated. I would suggest there has been contradictions on all sides. It all serves on all sides to harden attitudes .....
It still remains that the two parties that need to settle their differences are wasps and Sisu. Don't know about you I don't see a possibility of that until after the supreme court judgement.
Stalemate. And there is little that might change it that I can see, be it protests, talks with fans groups, media appeals or spats.
I also don't believe the EFL will act against its own member in the final analysis or that there is not a plan B.
All sides painting their own pictures ..... all very frustrating
Perhaps because the trust are not involved in the court action ? Did the trust report say anything of note ? It got lambasted on here because it didn't. Was there really much to say from that meeting I suspect not.
Never said he shouldn't say something or that some dialogue should not take place. Its how its said i suppose. He has to try and keep trying. But has or will the match day comments change things other than create some anger. Last time things only changed through the efforts of third Parties and the need to be back changing Sisu stance.
As CEO, boddy takes his instruction from the director or the owner .... As an employee he has to. He reports back to the director and owner.
I would guess that things are not what they seem on all sides including with boddy.
Familiar patterns of tactics and strategy from all concerned. I tend to keep in mind that all sides have detailed planning going on, nothing is knee jerk, last minute or emotional (except the fans in general). Just like with all the previous problems at the club. Not sure I trust any public utterances from any of the main players.
Find it hard to believe there are people actually defending the councils stance.
Imagine if this was any other business in the city. A business that had been here over 100 years, employed local people, generated millions for the local economy and was one of the most instantly recognisable things about the city nationally and internationally.
Now imagine that business could, in a few months, either move out of the city or cease to exist completely. Would anyone find it acceptable for our council to refuse multiple requests to meet with the company?
Its just another example where people go 'SISU' and everything else gets ignored.
It's time for the public statement to go out to the council that they should talk. Start turning the screw now or you lose any chance of ever earning some credibility.
Why is every protest or action of any sort a big secret? Don't we want as many people as possible to know? Not saying anymore you'll find out in the morning.

A statement has gone out tonight not a written one but a visual one.
Not saying anymore you'll find out in the morning.
Just the start to remind the council we are still here.
I know what will be written on here tomorrow.
Queue ..... waste of time
Can anyone pressure them to do anything all councils are a law of their own, they say one thing and do another. Can the trust not pressure them to meet him (as it seems they will talk with the trust)? Even maybe be in on the meeting? You're right, there's no excuse.

Here is the reason people dont want to say or do anything.

The usual responses.
This has been done was slagged off on here only the other week.Exactly, it might be something we can reciprocate.
Something individuals can do is write to local councillors to express their opinion. Councillor contact details are normally published on the council website. I don't live in Coventry but something I might look to do this week.

What is that? Genuine question as I don't know where it is and don't know what I'm looking at.Just remiding the council that there is a Football team in this City

It's the hoardings on the walk from the station into town, near the council new offices. What is that? Genuine question as I don't know where it is and don't know what I'm looking at.
Ominously, seems to have a bunch of things on the first line that were great hopes for the city and its future prosperity, that then failed! It's the hoardings on the walk from the station into town, near the council new offices.
