People need to just lie down close their eyes and hope nothing will happen.A demo at Sky Sports? Really? Saying what? Targeting who? To achieve what?
People need to back away from "media coverage of our plight" and have a think.
Doesn't answer what I asked does it?People need to just lie down close their eyes and hope nothing will happen.
Nothing just like on hereDoesn't answer what I asked does it?
Aside from the backpats and cuddles from Blackpool fans, the hand shaking and massive love ins. What's it going to do?
Throw in a paedo and you're up to a ton.Guaranteed 20 pager.
Brexit mention guaranteed 50.
Blaming them for what?It hit rock bottom when that bloke started blaming students, that was actually comical :emoji_sweat_smile::emoji_sweat_smile:
On twitter not the meeting.Who did I was there never heard that.
Why would they not submit the accounts? They haven’t failed before have they?Well I was there. I’ve read all through this thread and honestly there’s more tripe on here than I heard at the Albany. Basically exploring what if anything could we, the fans do to help end this impasse between Sisu and Wasps. Never seen this David Johnson before he spoke okay didn’t expect any difference. The Phoenix club idea wasn’t seen as anything other than a worst case scenario but it was correctly pointed out as we stand now that might well become a possibility and one chap pointed out in previous cases Newport County is an example where their fans bought the rights to the history and eventually added County to the title, so all in all are seen as the original club was only answering a what if question if sisu liquidated is which apparently they can do, there’s two issues on the horizon one being the filing of our accounts on time I didn’t catch the second.
The one main thing which was left open to chew the fat on was “what can we do”

Fair play to him then but it's coming across as though it's a session of random crap. If what you've tweeted is the highlights I dread to think of what else is going on.
You can't file without being a going concern can you? Without a ground how can anyone sign us off as a going concern so on that basis the accounts won't be filed which means transfer embargo. Don't think there's a points deduction or fine thought which was also mentioned at the meeting according to twitter. Why would they not submit the accounts? They haven’t failed before have they?
I do like how there's worry about points deduction or fine for not filling accounts but pitch invasions and trouble at games which also have those risks are fair game. You can't file without being a going concern can you? Can you link them when they're available please?I missed good and bad stuff. Dave Eyles can type better than me and wasn't responding to people online so was less distracted. His notes will be more comprehensive
Again
"The aim of the meeting is for fans to come together, discuss the problems we are facing as a football club and to work together to try and identify practical potential solutions."
Media coverage doesn't change things.
What is a practical solution that the Trust can do to get a deal at the Ricoh?
What on here that people have posted genuinely do you think is tripe and what was said at the meeting that was actually useful in working towards breaking the impasse between Sisu and London Wasps? Both genuine questions.Well I was there. I’ve read all through this thread and honestly there’s more tripe on here than I heard at the Albany. Which deal and what part did the trust have to play?We brokered one before to ensure we continued to play there.
What are we missing for the full house?
I kinda get where Rich is coming from, sod doing all this shit again in a years time.
At least twice in the past they haven’t filed accounts. Why would they not submit the accounts? They haven’t failed before have they?

Nothing said about that in fact one guy pointed out how futile that is and against the law inviting Police action as there are as we know laws around it at football games or even in the vicinity of a football match. It's certainly got people fired up for protests.
Here's what will happen.
People will kick off at games, cause trouble.
This will then give an excuse for stewarding to take the piss.
People will then kick off even more at the club about stewarding.
Wasps and the council piss themselves. ( See duggins public opinion firmly on their side comment after clearly bullshitting about the promises made).
Disband, reform. See who actually wants to remain a member. Then support the team and work with not against all the other parties. They have zero influence so may as well row in behind until their voice carries any weight. At the moment they look and sound like a petulant child shouting in a sound proof box.Still waiting for you to say what the way forward is. What should the Trust be doing?

No such law exists to rugby matches though.
Which deal and what part did the trust have to play?
I was there tonight, didn’t hear or see any petulance. There were about 100 in attendance, all of them ordinary fans, most I suspect are season ticket holders. Everyone I think would love this club.Disband, reform. See who actually wants to remain a member. Then support the team and work with not against all the other parties. Which deal was it?A former board member that many lambast on various platforms spent a couple a days of his time negotiating between club officials and the landlords to sort things out due to the two sides not being able to talk to each other. There was a game on the Saturday. It was sorted either late on Thursday or Friday (can't remember which). I'm not sure what would've happened if he hadn't done that but I very much doubt we would've all been at the Ricoh on that Saturday.

Your message to the Trust then is: disband. Don’t bother doing anything because no one listens to you. I don’t agree with this view. I also don’t see how any of that helps find a solution to the fact that in a few months we may be homeless and perhaps on the verge of extinction.
What do you think we as fans should do to try and resolve the situation?
Stop panicking about what we can't control and enjoy the football. Fill the Ricoh with passion and show the footballing world how big we are, how much it means.I was there tonight, didn’t hear or see any petulance. So is this on the return from Northampton as I can't ever remember us being that close to leaving the Ricoh without actually having gone.A former board member that many lambast on various platforms spent a couple a days of his time negotiating between club officials and the landlords to sort things out due to the two sides not being able to talk to each other.
