Wonder if we will try and bring him back in on a season long loan? possibly one of the 2 strikers thorn wants to bring in? and a big target man?

Any Idea of this Guy's Name??Yep sorry Baker boy I have to disagree. Altough he was exciting to watch we need goals. Would prefer 2 goalscorers, I've heard we are very close to signing a target man from the bundesliga and we failed to get a young Liverpool striker on loan due to his age.

I think he'd do a decent job in L1. He had the pace to scare defences in the Championship but unfortunately his final product was distinctly lacking. However, in L1 his pace would cause him to get in goalscoring opportunities more often and so I think he'd score a few more goals.
would love it, if he came, either to play on wing or up front. As you say him, a target man, a creative midfielder plus Jennings. With only RK going out then with that squad I would expect a play off push

Something that could be coached into him, he would have some defences in this league tied up in knots with his close control and dribbling.The problem is, 9 times out of 10 he showed no interest in getting in the box, and that is down to poor movement not the level he's playing at. We would work the ball outwide and he would be stood 4-5 yards outside the box, showing no desire to get in on the end of a cross, pass etc.

Harry KaneBut to me that should be bread and butter strikers play, at 21 he should already have a lot of that movement. I know Keane was another class but that was mainly down to the quality of movement. Millwall had a young 18 year old striker on loan from tottenham - he scored 8 in 23, and looked very lively against us.
He didn't score too many, but how many did he create? We beat Leeds because he got into the box and single handedly won us 2 pens. He'd be unplayable in League 1
He cant score goals and we need goals. I accept he tired but the truth is he looked poor in the last few games he played.

Cody to me is a 25 goal man at league one level.
Nimely can either play with him or on the wing if the target man is on with Cody.
Or on the bench to come on and change a game.
He was awesome for us till he picked up a knock. I think he played quite a few games with the knock, which is why I think he is getting a bit of flack.
When he was fit he scored his goal and won us quite a few free kicks and penalties.
Was pretty much the only player in the squad who could actually dribble past a man last season, when he first joined everyone was talking about his flair and how he was a breath of fresh air.
Why is it that big target men are always excused for a lack of goalscoring as they bring "other qualities" but if you are a small player you are expected to be a poacher.
Oh well we still have ROD, great goalscorer and a far superior player to Nimely

I think from this point whenever he played, he was injured and hence he is not rated by all
Alex Nimely didn't start against Bristol City because of a knock he sustained in the 2-2 draw against Peterborough last weekend.
And? He won 2 pens against a shocking leeds team (not 3 as indicated above), and won a penalty against Leicester in which he got clipped by the defender while chasing down the keeper and scored against 9 man middlesborough.
He made contributions in 3 games out of 17, Norwood pretty much shined in 90% of the games he played.
He was not awesome, if he was awesome Mowbray would have played him up top for middlesborough and would have started every game he was there.
He's got potential, he's got skill, but he hasn't got a very good footballing brain (yet) and made lots of poor decisions before and after getting injured.
