I literally cannot think of oneSaid a long time ago the trust should hammer that angle. The EC investigation will run its course no matter what else happens so what benefit is there for CCFC, Wasps or indeed the local economy for Wasps to continue to refuse us a deal at the Ricoh?
The local scene??Mmmmmmm an opportunity maybe?
Not at the games. Not at our games at least. If you want to protest then do it a Wasps game that wont affect the team.
The problem is, for the trust to work they’ve got to change from a rabid SISU OUT protest group to actually working for the betterment of the club.Yeah, I wasn't meaning protests at games as such, more along the lines of opening up regular lines of communication with the Trust etc. I think the past few days has been an eye opener for them and reckon both SBTs should probably look to establish a working relationship going forward so that we're all on the same page.
Enough of the squabbling on Twitter etc. There's a lot of good ideas/suggestions from this audience...how can we work with the Trust to ensure that they're more representative of the fan base than they currently think they are.
That's my point. The last 24hrs will have helped them see that their approach isn't favoured by the majority of fans they claim to represent. The problem is, for the trust to work they’ve got to change from a rabid SISU OUT protest group to actually working for the betterment of the club.
there’s too many egos on the board for that to happen currently

To be honest I actually agree as long as they reform. They need a new membership platform where we pay annually.Join the Trust

More modern voting and meeting procedures and hopefully we can move forward and get everybody working to the same end
I love that dog

Great idea to reform and add annual membership, but the problem is the current crop wouldn't be reelected so no way they'll give it up.
Yes but they obviously dont for a reason. There is nothing stopping Trust Board members posting or opening a dialogue to try and build from it, is there?
Yes but they obviously dont for a reason.
Let's be the bigger people here (ignoring the obvs Weeman jokes...) and why don't we approach them and say something along the lines of 'on the back of recent press releases, we wondered if youd be up for working together to unite a fragmented fanbase so we can then work on the ultimate goal of getting our club back to the city?'. If Shmeeee comes up with something that looks like a good model for renewing membership, casting votes, managing polls etc, that's a start.
Fresh slate, clean start. An alliance if you will.
Just seems a waste if we dont capitalise on all the good work that Pete has done over the past couple of weeks (and others as well...Pete is the obvious nomination for gratitude though at the moment).

This looks promising, just needs server space: DemocracyOS - Change the Tool
Would need some form of payment gateway and subscription management service as well as continued subscriptions is a good idea. Will go a-googling
Well said Pete. I’m on the same page as you.Just a few points and these come from someone that signed up more people for the Trust than anyone else.
1. Why have the Trust not asked for additional subscriptions after the original £1.00 to join?
2. How many of the “membership” would pay even £1.00 now for continued membership?
3. How many meetings whether you agree with the formats or not of meetings have been held since the move to Birmingham?
4. Why do you think the Trust will not criticise CCC or Wasps?
Just a few questions I have more but enough to be getting on with. I have my answers which are
1 Because they would be embarrassed
with the number
2 probably not more than 100
3 Don’t think there has been 1
4 They think they can have some sort of influence I we go back to the Ricoh and SISU go.
The Trust can only be credible if they stick with the number originally claimed.
The Trust at one time did speak for me, unfortunately no longer.
Agreed. Not sure how many on their board but say its 5...why couldn't it be 8 or 9? It needs to be painted as an opportunity to move onto the next evolution of the SBTr.If there is any progress with the trust would it not be an idea of a board made up of a split, ie 3 people from the trust and 3 people “elected” from a vote on here?
Trouble with them is it’s probably a case of “ jobs for the boys” when it come to their board and they wouldn’t want their applecart upset.
Another coupleWell said Pete. I’m on the same page as you.
Oh dear Neil is off again. Sisu have said they don’t want to play at the Ricoh lets get behind their new stadium
Honestly, I think the best thing we can do is just ignore him. Let him say what he wants to say...free speech and all that.
Lets focus on what we can control, rather than what we cannot. I think people are starting to see the wood through the trees (or whatever that saying is) which makes his statements stand out even more. Leave him to it, don't bother engaging.
He'll get bored if no one interacts.
Oh he ignores me - refuses to engage with people off here as we are trying to stop the Trust working with all parties to get the club back to Coventry
lol so now the indemnity is public, they’re just going to accept it’s not happening so now they’re chasing other avenues to avoid the criticism of waspsOh dear Neil is off again. Sisu have said they don’t want to play at the Ricoh lets get behind their new stadium
