It is indeed.

How can you turn up for a day at a funfair and end up losing limbs? Is it speed and danger and profit over safety?

Yep, it's the last think you would ever expect to happen, you expect an even higher level of Health and safety at a place like that. It's definitely put me off going on any rides for a while.
