I came on here and posted a post saying I had an offer for SISU and the reason I came on here was basically to see what you thought and get feedback. It was not to attract attention but to see 'if' anyone wanted to come on board. NOW I wish I hadn't posted. 10 minutes after I had posted I regreted and as many on here now come from GMK I know with their venum I would regret it. This site has people who don't come on to belittle people as GMK does so to Otis and many others I apologise for 'attention seeking'. To FlyingF I just say 'do one', your like are not worthy of other comments'.
As for the offer I will be doing so because I want to test the water. I, in a million years, don't want a football club, I just want this wholesituation over before it gets worse.

I just don't get why you'd say you'd sent an offer to SISU but then wouldn't tell us anything about it...very odd.

well good luck with your negotiations. Your original post was just looking for feedback? Unfortunately there wasnt much detail to give feedback on. If that was due to a need for confidentiality then it made the whole exercise a bit pointless.

I sent it here like a little kid excited at getting a prize. I have a very professional life, as many on here do, but when it comes to football we become like kids. In my professional life I, at present, am working with investors and they asked me about projects I am working on now and the future. I told them about a future investment could be with a football team and they were all ears. I told them about our plight and they added their ideas. YES it was unprofessional to come on here and I regret it, apologise for it and hope you don't hold it against me. I WILL BE SENDING IT but keep it quiet.

To be quite honest with you Simon, I think that is the way you should have gone about it in the first place. All hush hush.

There have been far too far hope raising posts and false information on here over the past few years, that people have now become very, very cynical and also very dismissive over any takeover/investment suggestions or ideas. You can't blame them.

Your post was rather muddled and not very coherent, so of course people took you to task over it.

Things like this, if it has any legs whatsoever, are all best done behind the scenes and all hush hush.

We shouldn't hear anything about it until it does have legs.

GREAT post as always. But, I disagree. Why should we bow to the cynics? Many on here are cynical but have nothing to back it up. If a person is successful I would accept their jokes, ideas, beliefs etc, but when people are cynical JUST to be cynical, for their own entertainment then I put a middle finger up to them. I left GMK because they were so cynical and even the moderators used to pull their hair out. Is it any coincidence that the guys who run GMK are in no rush to bring it back?

Nick you do an amazing job but you will see once the GMK old guard get their hands on this site the whol forum will become abusive. As I said on another thread, why is it taking so long for GMK to come back? You will lose the your good guys and they will be replaced by GMK losers.

Totally agree. I make one error and the whole site gets involved, like a fecking family, If I say I go I become a flouncer which I'm not. If I stay I become an attention seeker. I know what I'll do. I sit down with a bottle of wine and watch Dad's army allllllll day. BYE and speak later

Well, you lost me there.
They may have had 'great intentions', but they really didn't show any talent. They wasted the golden opportunity when the club was given fresh money and afterwards haven't accepted any responsibility.
If they're your hero's then I won't expect you'll have much chance of success with your 'offer'.

PS - I don't drink 15 pints a day, but maybe that's why I can't see the virtues of GH/JE/RR?

Simon....let me give a little bit of context to my quote. You said on your last post, you're sending it but keep it quiet. Correct?

You've posted this on a forum, browsed by hundreds, maybe thousands on rare occasions. Local media outlets such as the Telegraph frequent here and one or more of their journos posts on here regularly. My point being that if you wanted to keep things quiet, an internet forum for football fans (whose numbers are generally not small), is one of the worst places to share such information, especially when journos also use the forum. You might have well have got one of those planes trailing a message saying 'Offer to Sisu...but Sssshhhhhh' and flown it over Coventry.

The fact that your business acumen (the past 24 hrs worth of activities) shows a little to be desired as well as insinuating that a number of fellow forum dwellers are pathetic individuals, doesn't really lead many on here to believe anything other than you're on the wind up or the schools are on holidays again.

If you genuinely had something to offer SISU/CCFC you've gone totally the wrong way about it. Why not solicit opinions from the likes of OSB on all things financial, Simon Gilbert on media related process etc rather than coming on here and saying 'I've know something you don't know...na, na na, na na, na'?

Good luck to you...prove me wrong...if whatever you're trying to do is for the good of the club, I hope you prove me wrong. I'm quite pessimistic on your chances though...

Bear in mind that these were the days before iPads, touch screen etc, she kept on pressing the top left of the screen with her finger instead of using the mouse button and clicking.

If you think someone has been abusive or has broken the site rules then you can report the post. This is then sent to all moderators who can take appropriate action.

Don't get me wrong, but we've had more than a few dreamers say they want to takeover the club, buy the arena, etc. etc.

What it tends to do is build up fans' hopes, only to dash them again later. I don't think that's a particularly nice thing to do, personally.

On that basis, I think it's fair enough to challenge people who make public statements regarding this sort of thing. If you've got a serious offer to make to the club, then go and make it. If you got the kind of sums of money that we're likely to be talking about, then I'd honestly doubt you need anyone's help here. But if you do, then why not ask?

Otherwise, it's kind of hard to understand your motivation for posting about this - as it stands it looks a little like the Dhinsa, Byng thing again I'm afraid.
