Do you leave the isolation switch on at all times for the cooker ?

I have a gas hob electric fan oven and the isolation switch is on atm

My missus wants to switch it off after every use but it obviously resets the clock .
It's safe to keep on isn't it ?

My Mrs does this every night too.... So frustrating

Mine has been permanently switched on for the last 10 years

Ours is always off when the hobs not in use. Just sensible with kids around the house really.

Ours is always off when the hobs not in use. Just sensible with kids around the house really.

Our kids are a bit older now so i feel confident in that respect that they won't meddle with the cooker
