FM 2020 free on Steam for this week tooI can feel this lads passion and excitement around tactics. During our long isolation I have a real urge to sort out my laptop and get on FM for an obscene amount of hours per day and try and replicate the interesting 3-5-2 we play.

Opposition Managers already know all of this. Stopping it is the problemReally good article....
Lets just hope none of the opposition managers read it (if we ever get to play another match this season) as it's a great breakdown of our style of play.
The opposition managers team talk might go something like this 'Here you go lads read this and stop them from doing that!!!'
Been said on here a few times that you can tell early on if MR is happy with a point based on how advanced Dabo and McCallum are. That's actually quite an interesting read.
Looks like the wing-backs are one of the key elements of balance between defence to attack with how far they get forward for opening up the game to a positional style with width which allows for the other stuff etc
I'm guessing if you measure how far the wing-back are getting forward, or backwards, would be a good rule of thumb on how well the team thinks the game is progressing.
I think the opposition will already have done their homework.Really good article....

I won't believe any of that nonsense unless there's a graph to back it up.

Its trying to stop it that makes the opposition vunerable to the tactics!Opposition Managers already know all of this. Stopping it is the problem
Any team that does the park the bus routine and look for the break is what we struggle against! Excluding Rovrum the teams of Tranmere & Shrewsbury played like that against us and got the lucky break they were after otherwise it would have been two more 0 - 0 draws to add to our stats!Opposition Managers already know all of this. You think!!!!I think the opposition will already have done their homework.
I'm sure none of them have ever watched us..... But my sarcasm was clearly lost on you...Opposition Managers already know all of this. Stopping it is the problem
Lol, I’m better at giving the sarcasm but terribly gullible when on the receiving end.I'm sure none of them have ever watched us..... But my sarcasm was clearly lost on you...
