It's either Fisher and his cronies or Leicester fans, I cannot see why any decent CCFC fan would want to defend SISU.
Hard to defend anyone in this debacle.
How we got to this state of affairs is beyond belief.
So as predicted their bluff has been called and they have shown their true colours - the offer of ridiculously low rent dismissed in 24 hours. Yet Grendel and co still suggest it is ACL/CCC who have something to hide - quite incredible.
ACL have just shown once and for all that SISU scum don't give a shit about CCFC and certainly not the fans - and just want to get their hands on the stadium through nefarious means.
There is nothing but complete surrender we could offer this scum - to use the words of Paisley (sorry) There shall be no surrender !!
Lets just wait to see what happens at the CVA meeting on Friday, before spitting our dummies out.
Can you show me where it has been confirmed that the rent off has been dismissed please?
Not looking good.
Update from the Guardian: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/jul/31/coventry-city-liquidation-cva?CMP=twt_gu
Coventry City chief executive, Tim Fisher, said ACL's amendments would not be made to the CVA and that a planned groundshare with Northampton Town would go ahead.
"They've run us up against a cliff edge of liquidation and they've moved to tip us over," Fisher said. "All I can say is that it is the biggest crying shame.
"How can a public body not accept a complete CVA where they will get the money that they are owed, instead of a liquidation where they will get a fraction of that, potentially one-sixtieth of what they would have got?
"This isn't a financial situation of our making; there is no financial gain. Actually there is economic and financial wreckage at the club. I'm not sure we could have done anything differently."
I agree that Friday is crunch day, but Tim Fisher's words today sure don't look good for playing in Coventry:
ACL need to sign the CVA
They will if their fairly reasonable offer is accepted, the only ones who have come up with any sort of offer at any point of the negotiations are ACL what do SISU want to continue to play at the Ricoh ?ACL need to sign the CVA
And wrap a big bow round the Ricoh and give it to them as a christmas present ,And reduce the rent to £2.87 per annum
And give SISU a 24 hour break clause
And all the pie revenues.........

I find it incredible that there are people STILL trying to point the finger, intimidate, accuse, ridicule etc. others simply for having a different point of view.
Some "SISU lovers" do not love them at all but often offer a more balanced opinion/view than some of the vindictive nonsense that resembles "Animal Farm" & the SISU - bad, anti-SISU - good approach.
I encourage everyone to be more open minded - is there anyone that is still blind to the fact that SISU are actually right in their wanting to unite club & stadium & the revenue therein genrated???
If YOU (reading this are one that does) you need to get real! Revenue via the current Ricoh lease/arrangement is next to nothing & will not sustain a FL club.
Methods, ambitions (non-CCFC related i.e. money related instead) of SISU I find abhorrent - the principle of what they are saying seems spot on.
I went from defending SISU around the start of 2012 to dislike & through to wanting them out at admin.
The fact is is they are here & seemingly here to stay. We have not beaten them...maybe many ought to soften their approach to them (a subtle...but not full-on...JOIN them!!!) ignore them & get behind the team - just ignore the behind the scenes stuff. It'll just happen regardless of the fans' wants & emotions.
The CVA signed?

and what are they prepared to give ? you are expecting ACL to give everything up and SISU nothing ,what is the better option in your opinion, taking in to account cost, attendances, income and the image of CCFC, the deal offered by ACL to continue at the Ricoh or moving to Northampton ?The CVA signed?
I wonder how many of the season ticket purchasers feel proud and happy with their purchases after this latest disgraceful statement from Fischer?
ACL need to sign the CVA
The CVA signed?
I understand the sentiment here but you have to get real about sisu wanting to unite the club and stadium. It is not about the club in any way shape or form for sisu, it's about sisu and them making money by owning the ricoh. The club is just the vehicle they need to get to that point.
and you believe that CVA signed would guarantee playing at the ricoh?

No not guarantee but vastly improve the chances.
In fairness Grendel has said he's not going to games at Northampton and has rightly slagged off SISU at times and is right in that there are other forces working against CCFC with this mess! For me the only SISU 'fans' I've seen currently on here or GMK where there are plenty of backtrackers are TSB who is clearly a WUM, Paxman who has tried to put forward a case for 'Arena Tinpot' and failed miserably and Godiva who is clearly erm...a SISU fan! He always has been though right from GMK so fair play to him for not changing his views where a lot of others have. I've got to respect that.
If Sisu reject the ACL offer it suggests to me that they are only interested in getting the Ricoh on the cheap. If that is what they want, why would they then play at the Ricoh if the CVA is signed? Surely they would go sit in Northampton and wait while the legal challenges play out etc?
