Everyone and anyone except SISU is to blame for our demise. Is that what you are saying?

Weak and lame response -- the sign of a defeated man who has been hit by the Tsunami of reality.
Thorn is responsible for our demise? Not Richardson then? Or does it depend which week Grendel is posting in?
He said if we (not the owners) had got rid of Thorn we would still be in the Championship and at the Ricoh?
That seems to ignore SISU argument around the economics of rent etc., as well as the whole rift between SISU and ACL. We would still be in Northampton!
And the economics of selling your top striker in January for less than a million. In order to immediately risk losing 5 million in relegation.

Perhaps Clarke desire to join Wolves was not an easy thing to prevent, but not spending on a replacement?
That to me suggests SISU really are struggling for money. A weakened team at the Ricoh potentially gave them good reason to renegotiate the rent. Now they are away from the Ricoh you would think they would want to be as successful as possible?
You mean when you're say a the foot of the table with 22 points from 30 games and at the point where there's virtually no chance of escaping relegation.....
You're right I'm sure if we'd have kept juke we'd have managed to miraculously hit promotion form and pick up the 26+ points required to stay up....

You're getting dafter by the minute. I must confess ive never seen Coventry City miraculously escape relegation including when Stoke hit the bar with a penalty in the last minute and we would have been relegated if they scored, and beating Everton 4 -1 on the last day of the season. Talk about giving up early - Selling Juke was ridiculous as is not replacing Wilson as soon as he was injured
I was referring to Juke.
We had less points per game ratio when he was playing so your getting beyond daft. We were already practically relegated and would have ended up losing this £5 million plus his fee.
We won 3 in a row when all fixtures were completed and Everton were ready to go on holiday. It will never happen now.
People seem to forget we recruited 3 more players after the sale. One failed, one injury prone left back got injured and one succeeded.
Why wouldnt it happen now? Are you related to Mystic Meg. And is there any reason we couldnt have got a fee for Juke at the end of the season would he really have become worthless? And why bring in three more players if we were going to get relagated anyway? Go on enlighten me.
And a question posed earlier - is our demise anyone and everyone's fault except SISU?
As I have already pointed out the points per game ratio improved when the player was sold. We still were relegated by a considerable margin so you hardly have to be mystic meg do you? The point about the 3 players is that one - Norwood - improved performances and results in the short term. Prior to this thorn was allowed £500,000 to spend - the fact he wasted it on an unfit and unproven striker was his fault. The team had a solid defensive squad and would have had a good chance at avoiding relegation with a real manager at the helm.
The second question lacks maturity. Its clear the owners are to blame for a great deal but the failings we have seen would always have happened due to the unworkable rental model. That's why the first board went bust despite the idiotic notion they paid high wages. As an average wage we weren't and certainly not against average attendances. When supporters start saying reduce wages to pay a collosal rent they need to look in the mirror. They are also to blame for applying catastrophic managers but they seemed rather well thought of at the time by our fans. I believe some fans do want Pressley sacked. They are probably the same idiots that wanted thorn to stay and thought Coleman was any good at all.
We would have almost certainly stayed up if we got a real manager in charge. It was utter madness that so many actually backed sisu's continued employment of him. Still, the fans seem to know best,eh. Just look t how furious the Kiddiminster lot are that he has been appointed there.
That doesn't change the fact that Thorn is a clown or that his appointment is damaging the club......
I will not set foot in Aggborough until he goes. Rant over.
Absolute shambles.
Should vote with our feet if the board don't act now.
Thorn out
I'm with you on that cjh until he's gone I net going. {expletive deleted} idiot should resign after today.
Fack off thorn
What has this to do with Cov should be moved
The same would have been the case when you were commenting on this thread when it started nearly two months ago?
What's wrong? Thorn not doing too great at another club so you can't blame Sisu for it?
I think Don has infiltrated their forum - someone is claiming thorn is a tactical genius.
67% on their online poll think he should be sacked...

Don't worry he will soon be coaching in the England set up with Aidy.9% think they should stick with him - that will be don and non league.

Well he's already been scouting for them!
You didn't think I was joking did you? ;-)
You have to hand it to thorn though. When he started here he was quick to say he wanted to entertain - picking up on the boothroyd critics. Now fans are slagging his negativity. He's implying that was forced on him by the ex chairman he now has resigned - the poor sod he gave him a job!
Thorn has rhino skin and loyalty just to himself - ill give him that.
It is interesting that his cheerleaders are absent on this thread! Easily the worst manager in the club's history, yet he was being lauded as one of the greatest by the majority on here. It is reassuring to that know that I disagree with most of their inane rants.
