No sure whether Chelsea did this on purpose, but they were just awarded a penalty and the Palmeiras players were doing everything they could to put off the penalty taker, Azpilicueta, and waste time. Azpilicueta takes the ball in hand and stands by the penalty spot
Time for the kick to finally be taken take place and Havertz just wanders up and takes the ball off Azpilicueta and takes the kick.
If it was the plan, it's brilliant.
Even if you have a dedicated penalty taker and the opposition know he is going to take it, still give the ball to someone else, get them to stand by the spot and let your taker wander way away from the play to compose themselves.
