I have tried to convince myself as I am a diehard cov fan like us all that maybe after yesterdays events we may get our 10 points back. Surely there is half a chance?
No admin or liquidation has been settled yet so why cant a new CVA be drawn up and accepted by ACL and we prevent liquidation officially and therefore no need for point deduction. I don't even know why Sisu wouldn't do this as they seem most annoyed by the 10 point penalty other than anything else. So basically surely everyone wins in this new admission by the football league. Maybe its guilt from them or maybe its legal but it certainly changes it all. The ACL spokesman said "Fortunately its not too late" It isn't, he is right. Things sure can change in football and me like everyone else has had no good seasons in the last 13 years. Think, points given back seal a promotion and if it all doesn't happen then at least its a step in the right direction. Smaller fish (no pun intended) first getting the points back then Cov back in Cov.
I know the whole situation is rubbish and Coventry playing in Northampton is beyond anything in this life but one step at a time and our 10 points back and with todays result and the encouraging start and more players surely coming in once the "bomb squad" (4 left) as this will free up a lot of wages to bring in another 2 quality players and this could seal a top 6 finish. Why not?
To conclude is this 10 point deduction possible to reverse or is it just wishful thinking and never going to happen?
