Sod him thenStates Coventry had his contract written out and everything had been agreed then got call from Inda and he decided to go there. It finishes with him saying he wants to get fit and hopefully get an offer to go back to India next season.

Well no, but it's taking the piss a bit.I read the first bit but didn’t get as far as him saying he wants to go back...that’ll teach me!
Went back and read it. Sounds to me like he wants a few games with us and then wants to bugger off back to India to play in front of 70,000 each week. Hmmm...can’t really blame him.
Not the sort of thing you would wish to verbalise to everyone anyway surely.Well no, but it's taking the piss a bit.
Yeah it's a bit strange, no idea why we let him use us as a fall back optionNot the sort of thing you would wish to verbalise to everyone anyway surely.
See flippy on twitter, a burger flipping robot in California.I was listening on the radio the other day to an item about robots in the US being used to cook burgers in fast food restaurants. The reason for there introduction, as always, was the huge saving in costs on labour. There was someone on from a British bakery saying how they are increasing using robots to cook items in their ovens. It does make you think where the jobs in the future will be (robot manufacture and maintenance?) and who will be able to buy the products robots produce if unemployment is rife. Just to get the thread back on track, I don’t think Carl Baker will be replaced by a robot. How about a robot manager though?

I think with Paul Cook also in the squad it is likely the broth will be spoiled.Reece Charles Cook.

Yep, but using an optimistic eye, maybe because we will be in League One and he won't be good enough to join us there. But from our point of view he needs to be fully fit and be capable of giving us a return before we accommodate him...because his plans with us are very short term. It's not like we are going to get the benefit of him next season as he would obviously prefer to go back to India.

5 match winning performances that lead to an open topped bus tour of the city to adoring fans? That's the thing, obviously he can get himself physically fit but we will need to get him match fit and letting him train with us.
Then once he is fit and back to full fitness he wants to go back to India.
What do we get out of it?

Baker's better than Cole surely.Well yeah that would be great.
However if that doesn't happen, it might just end up like the Joe Cole experiment but not quite as good.
Certainly isn't these days for sure, the lazy bunch of scoundrels.Objection a King isn't a job!

If we did a word count he must be approaching 'Mowbray' levels now surely?I genuinely cannot believe we're still talking about an ex-player so much.....
The first thing I think about when I get out of bed, with Carl Baker sheets, and take of my Carl Baker Pyjamas is "I hate how much we talk about him"I genuinely cannot believe we're still talking about an ex-player so much.....

ccfc4life keeps the Mowbray-counter ticking over.
Yep, he needs to take over at Grimsby and see how well he does.although recently he appears to be on a mission to up the "Pep" count......
lauding the achievements of glorious Pep.......struggling against all odds to win trophies with those poverty stricken, perennial under-achievers Barcelona, Bayern Munich & Man city.....
