Don't know if streetwiseness is a word, it is now.
Have noticed it a few times now, if the ball goes out for their throw he will still bust a gut to either get the ball or get in the way of somebody trying to get the ball to slow things down.
Seen it a few times now where he seems to be a bit of a "knob". One of those are who great when on your team but you want him sent off if he is against you.
I heard he two foots the kit man before the match too

If other teams do it they should be kicked out the league. If we do it it's the best thing ever watching their players go mad.I've noticed a couple of our players telling the ball boys to take their time giving the ball back when we're winning.
To be honest not really a fan of that kind of thing but we have no choice when everyone else does it. If we don't do it we put ourselves at a disadvantage, as has been the case in previous seasons.
Good that its been picked up on, either by Robins or the individual players, and we're now doing the same.
They weren't slow on purpose. Some of their fingers were getting I the wayThe Leicester ball boys used to do this, but I vaguely remember the F.A. clamping down on it.
What’s the daftest thing a City player has ever done to help the other team?
As a sort of opposite anyone remember Kevin Kyle dragging an injured opposition player off the pitch to try and get the game going again ?

Mick Coop scored a great own goal onceAt the opposite extreme, you get people who are just too helpful.
Saw a junior game once where a player ran about 40 yards to retrieve a ball from some bushes behind the goal, and punted it back to the opposition keeper, who then took the goal kick and the ball was in the back of the net at the other end before the nice lad had even reached the pitch!

Our whole team is better at those sort of delaying tactics, standing on the ball for opposition free kicks etc.I can't remember which game, might have been Wycombe but one of their players went to take a throw and he just knocked it out of their hand and ran off to slow the game down.
Being streetwise it getting away with what the referee allows you too .Burge has always been very good at doing it .Slow to collect the ball or if it's thrown by a ball boy letting drop and having to pick it up , switching sides of the goal for goal kicks more often than normal an extra tap on two on the post with his boot always taking a glance up to see if the ref. is watching. All these things waste time when your in a favourable position in the game. I have noticed this season more players seem to be learning a few seconds here and a few there not only takes time off the clock but break up the rhythm of the game.
Seem to remember Leon Best freaking out the other team by hitting the bar from near the halfway line, supposedly giving the ball back to them in a gentlemanly fashion after a drop ball. Streetwise or just useless? I know where my money would be.
Burge hasn't don't the post kick for a while. It's about lying on the ball nowBurge is good at it Joe Murphy used to be awful, he used to pick up a booking everytime, no subtlety.
Lyer Lyer pants on FireBurge hasn't don't the post kick for a while. It's about lying on the ball now
How many has he got then?Nick definitely seems to like his knobs.
See he wasnt all bad....probably said to him "i need all the time i can to get a goal"!As a sort of opposite anyone remember Kevin Kyle dragging an injured opposition player off the pitch to try and get the game going again ?

On Tuesday he was in the refs face theatrically clapping a couple of decisions that went our way that the Bradford players were incensed about too. When his final 3rd decision making /execution improve he's gonna be a top little player.Don't know if streetwiseness is a word, it is now.
