Yes, plenty of talent still to come. We have a large number of extremely talented young players going right down the age groups.
Obviously Stevenson and Harries/Thomas/Maycock are playing in the first team, there is a lot more to come from Thomas I think.
If you then go down a couple of years, we have 4 top notch U18s in my opinion which have been part of a very successful U18s side so far and I know these lads are regarded highly.
Finn (#10 or a #7), Ponticelli (#9) Bayliss (#8) and Stedman (#10).
Going further down, the 15/16 age group (U16s) is supposedly one of the most talented groups we've ever had and the talent hasn't been unnoticed with 2 of the players being selected by England (most of the other players for Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea etc) so we're definitely competing with the big boys at this level. I believe both of these players have already signed their scholar with the club which is good news.
Keep your eye out for a lad called Jonathan Ngandu - only an U16 but has been playing regularly and scoring for the U18s. A 360% footballer which is very rare at his age. Like I posted in the U18/U23 development thread a few weeks ago, he's only slight but he'll never need to be bigger or quicker than he is at the moment. He can change direction freakishly and I've never seen a player so technically gifted play for our academy sides.
Take this for example. Look how sharp the turn is for his first goal, you can see why they're fast tracking him through the age groups.
Hopefully this post has helped a few people. If anyone has any other questions, I'll try and respond as well as I can. There's the U18/U21 Development Thread which is stickied at the top of the forum which I and a few other posters try to keep updated which is a good read for those who want to find out more.
