What were the selectors thinking of when they picked the World Cup squad?

Lol.

They seriously need to look at the system and revise it, or come up with something else entirely.

Win or lose, I still think it's unfair, but well played England. They made hard work of it, but Bairstow shone and carried the team.

It really was a very easy target. England screwed up early on. If they hadn't it would have been over with 5 overs to spare.

If it had been a 50 over game and they were 45 for 5 do you think they'd have got to 289?

They most likely wouldn't have been 45 for 5, because they would have played the game differently. Less than a run a ball is an easy target and doesn't require the need to go for boundaries.

Game over here from me too. You make hay while the sun shines.

Totally agree albeit we didn't help ourselves at the start but what a great end to a great ODI series

Played in a good spirit with no sledging, now for the horrible snarling Aussies

Yes, the difference between the on-field conduct of the New Zealand team and the Aussies is really palpable.
