I've heard a deal is almost done, will be announced by Saturday.
Yes.When was Hoffman with Fisher? Where was Haskell?
Have I missed something?
Who knows we'll have to wait and see.Sure it's not just when people like Richard Keys or Simon Jordan want a little bit of attention and people believe it and then expand on it and tell their friends?

Same as PricewaterhouseCoopers.Who are kmpg? What does that stand for and what do they do?
Is this another whisper of a whisper or does anyone have anything concrete to suggest sisu are looking to sell.
Has hoffman been approach to find suitable interested parties?
more importantly, are sisu now prepared to sell at a realistic price?

Yeah we could be a massive club with good owners a coherent vision and a stadium. Sadly unless Wasps fuck up or the council change their message we will never have one.
The law of averages says one day somebody will start one of these umpteen random rumours, and'll luck out with 'truth' of an ownership change.
5 days, 5 months, 5 years or more?

The club can't be worth much whatsoever. All comes down to how much SISU are prepared to write off of the tens of millions put in since 2007.
Shit! Had I'd known that I'd have done some rummaging. I collect the confidential waste from their offices in Birmingham.I know KPMG arrived in the area today for meetings but I have absolutely no idea if it is anything related to CCFC. However they were they company that the club engaged when they were conducting the last sale process, the one where we ended up with SISU, so you never know, could be something to it.
What?Same as PricewaterhouseCoopers.
also Cardiff, Norwich, Leicester? This club has massive potential and it can be turned round if we get people with the knowledge to tap into the area. It's waiting for a hero and as long as the new people have a controlled plan like a Southampton, Swansea, Bournemouth or even Burton themail club can be developed and progress. Sometimes you have to let something break before you rebuild it, we maybe this case.
Hence why I said I had no idea if it had anything to do with CCFC. Just know that the club used them last time round to find new owners and that they've flown some people in today for meetings locally.KPMG could be working with any number of companies in the area though CD. That's a proper tenuous link!
I think if they get 5 - 8 million they'll have done very well but I can't see anyone stumping up that much.
Problem is as soon as a sale goes through then their loss is crystallised and for now they retain a slither of a chance of this not happening. It also depends on how the rest of their portfolio is doing as to what the point is in keeping the club on life support. Either way this is not how a hedge fund usually operates.
Completely agree - the "asset" or debtor that they'd have on their balance sheet would not be a true and fair value.I think this justification is bollocks anyway. The initial cash invested would have been written off by now, anyway.
What?
