As alluded to on another thread, it seems to me (and I'm sure many others) that SISU are almost enjoying the systematic dismantling and destruction of a once-proud football club. I am prepared to accept the fact that they have no money to invest in players or anything else however nothing can excuse the total disrespect in the way they have treated us, the fans. They have lied to us on countless occasions (franchise player, loan signings, Juke not for sale, King signing etc), they have claimed they would improve communication with the fans (since then a string of board-level departures and no communication) and they have claimed to be acting in the best financial interests of the club (despite the fact that the Orange one is leaching on the club to pay for his air fares and bills at Coombe Abbey).
I just get the impression that they are taking a perverse, sick sense of enjoyment out of destroying our club. If they had an ounce of decency they would apologise and leave immediately but I get the impression that they are not going to be happy until the club is in League 2 and denuded of all of its quality, identity and spirit. They appear to be hellbent on vindictiveness and appear to extract pleasure from the suffering of the long-suffering Coventry fan. Even most Leicester fans would draw the line at the way SISU have treated us. To quote Cromwell to the Long Parliament, SISU in the name of God go and go now!!!
Have to agree mate, some of the things they have done and not coming out and being open and honest with the fans I get the impression that they really don't care about the club and fans. Utterly fed up
put yourself in their place,
not a palatable proposition i agree, but,
they will apportion blame wherever possible, and try to placate their private investors, whoever they may be,
they collared a club @ a nominal price,
they attempted to tart it up, ready for sale,
it didn't work, so let's 'take what we can',
or that's the way it has come across,
now, due to their 'pr' masterplan, it's all gone t*ts up,
will any of them 'have a future' in the world of business ?
effect = where we are now,
cause = you know who !!!!!
Try again. The first lot they put in charge, including managers, got it wrong and spent the bit of cash that was put into the club. Gates went down with the results. Even less income meant even less money to pay wages as we were still making a big loss. Sold players to keep us afloat as they could not raise the money needed. Team gets worse so attendances drop even more. Income goes down again. We are in a vicious circle.
FFS, I just don't think they are very good at running football clubs. I'm sure they don't enjoy losing money, backing a team likely to underacheive (again) and having the fans turn on them.

However if they are trying to run the club like a business why do they not attemt to make a profit. Seems that they will just carry on loosing money until they bail. Not good business yet seenm reluctent to leave!!!
Morning Guys
It was not long after Joe Elliots statement to the media on "Take over Day" when he said, and I quote "We are standing at a new dawn, of a very exciting Future for Coventry City football club"... that doubts set in, and questions were asked about Sisu's ability, and desire, to carry out the mission they had taken on, and that mission was to make the Sky Blues a successful Football club, and return them back to the "Premiership.
I guess, what alienated them to me, was the aggressive manner, in which they claimed the shares, Threatening and bullying, the small shareholders, who had held on to their shares for generations, a gun was held to their heads, and then told that the take over would be scrapped if they didn't hand over their shares for free, So that's how they aquired the club, By Threatening loyal shareholders and fans.
It didn't take long for them to realise, that the heat in the kitchen of football club ownership, was a little too hot for their liking, and the promised, multi million pound investment in new players, just didn't happen.
It isn't clear to anyone, what Sisus real intentions are regarding Our club, they have hidden behind a curtain of misinformation, and it would be fair to say that none of us has any idea regarding "who our owners are" But the "Sopranos" might not be a bad bet, directors, CEO's come and go almost weekley, the club is in turmoil, and still some on this Forum, choose to sweep the appalling mess that Sisu has got us into, under the carpet.
"Are they doing it out of spite" I don't really think so, I would say gross incompetance, and getting into a business, that was way over their heads and financial boundries.
Tankie.....
