Silly thread title, but Robins has alluded in the last couple of interviews to how the players and fans play off each other and when one is down so is the other.
A few took exception to this, I think it’s a statement of the obvious, but whose responsibility is it to resolve?
Is it fair to expect fans to create a party atmosphere right now, before the players turn it on. If so how can that be done?
On Wednesday I felt that the team playing well below their level came first with poor passes getting groans rather than the other way around. Also don’t think the turnstile issues helped the atmosphere in the first ten mins or so.
If not, is it just a case of keep plugging away until we fluke a 1-0 and take it from there?
I know I’m flat. But nothing is going to change until Jan now, so really I think it’s time for us to do what we can. Robins, the players and the fans together. I was disappointed to hear booing at the end of the last game, even if it’s not aimed at the players that’s how they’ll take it.
Tl;dr: I’m as depressed as anyone but right now our best hope is boosting the confidence of the players we have. We aren’t going to force a change of ownership we’ve proven that many times over the years. Unless you are mates with a billionaire all you can do is bitch on here and cheer the lads on in the ground.
