Attack Force (1 Viewer)

Chris Eagles huh? Wow! If we can pull this off, what a signing! There rumours going around that he would arrive in the summer, which i immediately dismissed. A player of his quality wouldn't come right right?....right? Sure, the deal isn't done yet, he needs to prove his fitness and show Mogga what he can bring to the field.

If this deal does happen, we have a lot of options attacking wise. The central midfielders and striker are pretty much locked in until January when Armstrong's loan is up. So assuming Eagles signs and we have no injuries, who would you play behind Armstrong in the 3 man attacking midfield, which Mowbray seems to prefer. If it was me, I'd go for Murphy on the left, Madders in the centre and Eagles on the right, once he regains fitness of course. So whats your view? Who would you use behind Armstrong? Would you even change the formation? Let us know.

The best answers will be read out on Sports Lounge this Thursday 10am-12 noon. It's gonna be a big one. I've got a MAJOR announcement on the show. I really think we need JOB to play.when he plays we seem alot more balanced .Not that id play him in behind Arma! He would have to go on one of the flanks. Personel opinion is madders/ lamieras in behind.

Horses for courses. Away from home I'd like Fortune up top with JOB Eagles and Armstrong behind.

At home I'd go for Arma up top with Murphy Madders and Eagles behind.

But then I'd switch both up depending on the oppositions weaknesses and how the game is going.

I think the good thing is that we now have a number of options available in terms of formation, mainly due to the squad we have. We just need to ensure that TM gets the best out of these players in terms of flexibility and still performing when he changes the formations.

Sorry JOB is not good enough and that will be why Mowbray might bring Eagles in. Can't fault his work rate his endeavour or enthusiasm but his final pass and creativity is hopeless imo

Remember this is a trial and along with the fact he is still without a club suggests Eagles has much to prove. Remember he has had two short term contracts last season at clubs that have not been renewed. He is clearly not the player he once was.

I think people are assessing Eagles on the player he was 3 or 4 years ago. Yes players can resurrect careers and it would be good if Eagles did that with his at Coventry. However I have seen too many players with reputations on the slide come to this club and well just keep sliding.

I really do believe Mowbrey and his staff will be monitor him closely in training. I think this is from far a done deal and Eagles may not be the final piece in the team we are looking for.
