Every time they post something they are attacked by so called fans to the point I feel they don't want to communicate with us, I feel this is counterproductive and not in our interest by all means go on the attack if its to do with the administration but when they want to talk about the players can we show some sort of support? And if not are you really a supporter anymore?

Twitter and intelligence don't mix too well. You can read about idiots everyday in the news who have sent threatening, abusive or racist tweets. I agree with you, some of the things I've seen written to our players, ex-players, etc is embarrassing.

I never normally comment of facebook and I don't have twitter. But today they said on Facebook about the change of date for the Swindon game, and I said "this means nothing until we can buy tickets you jokers."

And I stand by it.

Maybe they could release season tickets for sale, move the club merchandise back into the shop, reveal next season's kit and shirt sponsor, perhaps even tell us where the hell we'll be playing? Don't expect people to be gushing with praise when we essentially support something which is a football club in name only.

Problem is sisu have lost all credibility and no one believes them. When that happens anything and everthing they say is treated with cynicism /disbelief.

Yeah, I understand that, I've gone off on a tangent.

You are right, 99% of the time it's retards embarrassing themselves.

I just think when they are talking about players starting training you could be more supportive of them because they have done nothing to deserve that, sometimes when you've nothing good to say its better to say nothing at all

I don't get why people go over the top abusing people whether it is David Bell, SISU or ACL etc. Any need to get personal?

I agree that personal harrassment of players is uncalled for but I won't be cracking open some bubbly because David Bell is staying put either. A few noteworthy exceptions aside none of this lot are fit for the shirt and the manager must have a personal agenda against Gillette.

why not communicate via their own website(ccfc) or local media?? just putting out there

In fact when did they last tell us (the fans) anything we had not already heard from someone else??..they treat fans with contempt so lets stop defending them

It is just your nose is too close to your mouth, that is what you can smell

Sometimes it is hard to tell if somebody is joking with just words, but when people are threatening to punch Tim Fisher and shouting at players about their disabled children (Kilbane) it isn't really on.

It's 2013 and fb and twitter is far more powerful then local media. I will always defend my team because they don't have a say in the ownership of the club and also have no say in if the rent gets paid or not so you attack the team if you like but I will not be agreeing with you anytime soon

Where has he condoned attacking the team?

There is a difference between the club and the team. The team shouldn't get abused online, the club however gets all it deserves.

Not the first time though and to be honest it does reduce the amount of bullshit we have to sift through.

If people want to attack the players and the club then they clearly don't support Coventry City Football Club the owners "sisu" pay the bills nothing more they will get out of town one day but only if a offer comes in to give them an exit and on that day everyone will be happy but till then players getting ready for a season need supporting sisu know full well they are hated so do you need to point it out to the club every time they post something

I will attack our current owners every day until they leave our club. I will not attack any off our players (not to happy about the manager but hay hoo) as they have nothing to do with how we are run. Even next season (if we start it) because their heads are going to be so messed they will struggle to focus, in my opionion

I think there is confusion here. I thought we are all moaning about our owners and not the club? Why argue when we all want the same thing? I don't know about you guys but I want rid of SISU ... That's it. I want to give our players and manager a chance. Even if they struggle next season. No matter what is said or done the aim is get rid off SISU and it's idiots.

It's not just twitter, it's any sort of social media, including Sky Blue Talk. Some of the silly arguments, deliberate miss information, overly aggressive opinions and general stupid posts on here are quite frankly embarrassing.

Quite like the passionate debate. Don't like offensive, aggressive & nasty comments. I also dislike people making stuff up as fact. On balance I really enjoy this site
