We laugh, but in all seriousness there were a lot of people around at that kind of time that were parroting that kind of shit. I got into many arguments with people, including friends and family, that got blinded by the bright lights of the Wasps bandwagon and this sort of talk like we saw from Tony was deemed acceptable in some circles.

Of course now most have seen the reality, and many of those that got sucked in have quietly crept back into being full-time CCFC supporters without any real acceptance of accountability that they were culpable in Wasps being allowed to get away with what they did.

Simply, I'll say the only thing that really matters on this now: Fuck Wasps, and fuck anyone who was prepared to see our club die by supporting that hideous regime. The whole encounter turned me off Rugby entirely and I cannot even really stomach to watch international games anymore. We won't forget what you did, and we won't forget those that enabled them. Fuck you cunts. Amen.

I thought I was being really petty also thinking this, so it's comforting that someone else does too (well, I mean it probably is really petty, but you know what I mean!). Used to do all the England WC and important 6nations games in the pub, but don't even watch them at home now.

I'm the same, never used to mind rugby and would watch the internationals but now I don't bother and don't give a fuck about them
