Baker on not seeing Dulieu
Coventry City midfielder Carl Baker claims that he did not see Ken Dulieu on the bench for the 1-0 defeat to Hull City last week.
No-one knows or is saying if Mr Dulieu is still employed by the club, if he will be at the Peterborough game this afternoon and where he will be sat or even if he is in the country, but Baker told the CT's Alan Poole that he spoke to the Director Of Football Operations before kick off but did not see him on the bench.
The Scouser said about Mr Dulieu being on the bench: "It's unheard of - I've not known it since I've been in football.
"People have made a big deal of this to the point where it has been blown out of all proportion.
"I saw him in the changing room before the game, we shook hands and had a little chat, but its not that out of the ordinary to have people coming and going so I really didn't think anything of it.
"It was only after the game when the gaffer was interviewed that I realised he had been sat on the bench and the fact that I didn't notice him shows how much it affected me.
"It's not as if the reaction after the game was different - somebody didn't get a rollicking when they deserved it. The gaffer was exactly the same as normal, he spoke to us and treated us the same as he would have done after any game.
"The gaffer's the gaffer and I don't think you're going to change him just because somebody is sitting next to him or standing behind him.
"And it doesn't affect how we perform as players - we'll prepare in exactly the same way whether somebody is in the stand, the dressing room, the bench or wherever."

if he'd been wearing a kit you could understand him blending into the background with all the empty seats,or maybe the fact he had'nt shaved masked the glow, must have been on here all night garnering oppinion and furmulating tactics from our insightful input ,that truely would prove him clueless LOL;)

When they came up with: 'The future's bright, the future's orange.' they clearly weren't thinking of us.
