Supposedly West Brom dont want him back and he wants to stay with us as he is getting regular football. Now heres my question should we keep him or use the money to sign a striker, i dont get to see him play much but when i saw him against s****horpe he looked a little bit lost and not too sure what to do under pressure.am i being too harsh or should we give him more time and hopefully with wood playing beside him make him a better player?
I must admit I've only seen him play twice, S****horpe (on Sky) and Newcastle and thought he was dreadful, and certainly worse than Ward. If he is to stay then hopefully he'll improve. West Brom paid a fair fee for him, so must've seen something in him.
Also, I do laugh at the way the swear filter would let me type the name of the team who play at Glanford Park!
Although I agree on loan players short term especially when we have so many injuries but loan players come from clubs who are not playing them which makes me think 'why' if they can't get in their own sides would they be any good for us. we have the young players who come on loan looking for a contract & hopefully our scouts have done their homework and have identified that these type of players will benefit our club. but although Loan players help clubs at all levels I am not in favour especially when we get duck eggs.
Different managers have different opinions about players , and West Brom are a decent side . If we swap him for Best it wouldnt be a bad move , he cost the Baggies a fair bit of money and if we dont move Best out in this transfer window he will leave for nothing at the end of the season .
